Beautiful barn conversion, cosy but roomy. Excellent quality fittings. A truly special place to stay. Pam and Robert very welcoming and nothing too much trouble.

We absolutely loved everything about this wonderful cottage. The location of the property is central within a small hamlet and the entrance to the parking area is wide enough for even the largest of cars to enter. There is private off road parking with plenty space to turn and the entrance to the cottage is picture postcard, absolutely delightful, while we were there the clematis was in bloom and added to the enchantment of the cottage. The entrance is by a stable door and we had the top door open for much of the time. Inside we wanted for nothing, including dishwasher and washing machine, although no integrated tumble drier or separate drier there is a clothes airer provided. The open plan layout inside was lovely and the bathroom is nicely laid out, once again, wanting for nothing and has a choice of shower heads. There was uninterrupted hot water at all times and when the weather did become a little colder the underfloor heating was turned on and could be regulated from within the cottage. The sleeping area was delightful, being a mezzanine and the small window at floor level was delightful. Spare towels were supplied along with hairdryers and a vanity mirror. Built in wardrobes and basket storage added to the charm of the lovely sleeping area. The garden surrounding the property was charming and we were able to walk throughout, it is well kept without being sanitised, it is very picturesque and overlooks the local village, which is within easy walking distance. On arrival at the cottage we were met by the owners, Pam and Robert who are a lovely couple and a wealth of knowledge both locally and further afield. We enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to return next near, but for longer, to enjoy more of the beautiful and interesting Somerset countryside.

Originally we looked for a cottage on Anglesey however the booking company were so inefficient compared to Classic we decided to come South. The owner Pam has a fine eye for quality and attention to detail. Lovely house plants too. We have always driven through Somerset without staying in the County. Our loss - it is distinctive, beautiful and unspoilt. Access to the owners garden was a bonus. Her dogs were delightful.

A wonderful cosy cottage in a quiet rural location.

August 2016

Rural location but convenient for local shops, places to eat and places to visit. Beautifully converted and well equipped, an ideal bolt-hole for a relaxing break in a relatively unknown area.
A bird watchers paradise!

The cottage was exactly as described and shown online. Booking online was easy and a good level of information was giving re the location and contact details of the owners. Already recommended this website to my colleague looking for a cottage break.

April 2015

A lovely cosy barn in a fantastic location. Very peaceful yet not far from local towns and cities, shopping outlet, Cheddar Gorge, fishing villages. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. We were very lucky and had wonderful sunshine for most of our stay. The owners were very hospitable, nothing was too much trouble, giving advice on where to visit and lots of lovely goodies awaited us on our arrival. A perfect place to stay for a relaxing holiday.
