This is one of the fabulous beaches in Falmouth - Swanpool.
The sailing mecca of Falmouth is just a short drive away and has a plethora of independent shops, cafes and art galleries.
Also a little further afield, you'll discover St Agnes, a vibrant coastal village with a fantastic butcher, local craft shops, lots of delicious bistros, and of course the fabulous beach that is Trevaunance Cove.
Cornwall's little city of Truro is within a short drive away too.
Hopping on the King Harry Ferry over to the Roseland is a fun trip.

Fern was beautiful in every way - beautifully quiet, beautifully spacious, beautifully designed, beautifully appointed. Our second visit to The Emerald - we've done one of their Shepherds huts as well - and we'll definitely be back.

I wanted to take a break with my sister but it needed to be a real treat of peace, quiet and luxury. Fern cottage was the perfect place. Lovely owners that were around if you needed anything or available by phone. Beautiful spot. Being local we will definitely be staying again. Loved the hot tub. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed and more. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Hopefully next time will be in one of their shepherds huts....
