We had a lovely stay, Vicki and Dave were very welcoming and helpful. Dave came out very quickly to fix the hot water. There was everything we needed, very comfortable beds. Vicki also gave us good recommendations for eating out, visiting places and the ice cream parlour on the A30. We had a very relaxing time.
Mr Gillott May 2022
This tent is in a perfect location for exploring the coast with most places under 40 minutes away. A very private location if you want to stay put and relax. The Volunteer inn is a must visit with real ale and fantastic food.
Miss Connolly October 2021
Fantastic place... Can't wait to go again
Mrs Milton September 2021
We had a wonderful stay. Lovely surroundings peaceful, quiet with many things to do if u so wished. Local farm shop and town very near so no need to travel far for shopping. Farmer very helpful and obliging. Great time
Mr Radford July 2021
Great peaceful location close to both beautiful river walk along River Otter and amenities of Ottery St Mary. A great base from which to explore Devon being close to A303. Lovely setting and spacious safari tent that offers much more than simply living under canvas. Great family option.
Miss Blakeway July 2021
Amazing!!! Would recommend and will be staying again! Great to be able to have a private glamping experience with friends
Mrs Cooper June 2021
Friendly owner, great location in a quiet setting. Nice walk through fields and wood to Ottery. Great hot tub although takes a huge amount of wood to heat!
Mrs Dews May 2021
Great glamping experience, lovely to have so much space and to have the feeling of an outdoor adventure but with little luxuries like hot showers and a hot tub!
Mr Attwood April 2021
Beautiful location - best enjoyed in good weather.
Mrs Webb April 2021
Very nice owners, quick and happy to help with any issues, lovely campsite with beautiful surroundings. The nature was breathing taking and i love how they thought of making a seating area to observe the wildlife (nice touch!) Was colder in the evenings especially for this time of year but had a generous supply of logs to keep us going. Had all we needed for a real self sufficent holiday, thank you!
Ms Barkla April 2021
Beautiful location, lovely facilities, and the owners were really friednly and helpful
Mr Preston September 2020
We loved our stay at beaver lodge safari tent. It was a quirky style of glamping we had not experienced, but with all the luxuries of a good bathroom set up and great kitchen setup. We are a young couple, but feel it would suit young families just as much. Lovely local walks to Ottery Saint Mary, and only 15 minute drive to Sidmouth which was beautiful. We would definitely consider returning.
Miss Sangster September 2020
The safari tent is wonderful. The perfect way to get out in the countryside with a little bit of luxury. Thanks for a great stay!
Ms Webb September 2019
A fantastic place to recharge your batteries, close enough to amenities but still felt totally lost in the beautiful countryside.
Mrs Denham September 2019
Beautiful lodge, great value lovely hosts
Miss Simpson March 2019

Mr Revett April 2017
A very enjoyable stay in May. We arrived in the dark and Vicki spotted us from the farm house and guided us to the tent as the turning is a little difficult to spot at night. On arrival there was a very nice welcome basket. Despite being very cold and windy we were more than able to keep the tent warm with the wood fired stove and plentiful supply of wood. The wood fired hot tub was a nice touch and very very hot after 6 hours. There is plenty of room in the tent to allow you to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We wood happily go back and would recommend to others.
Mrs Brady April 2017
Brilliant location for a family break or a couples retreat. So quiet and yet easy to walk to the village where there is an amazing coffee shop and good facilities.
The lodge is huge so much space for two active boys to run. Building a fire each night was brilliant. Take lots of marshmallows.
Ms Van De Schoot July 2015
We had a wonderfull stay at the KSTent. We saw squirrels walking along the fence. The best neighbours we could wish for. The space and quiteness made us unwind completely after a very busy work period. Now we know what we have been missing out on other holidays. No people around, except our own family.
Mr Jordan May 2015
A perfect setting with great countryside views. Lots of space to run around and gather firewood. The tent was very roomy and had comfy living/dining area. It was also well stocked with utensils, cups, glasses and cooking pans etc. The beds were warm and comfy.
Ms Mcgaw September 2014
Location and surroundings beautiful.
Mrs Henderson-Morrow September 2014
We loved the lodge. We loved how secluded it was and it was amazing for a romantic break. Major selling point is that it is completely on its own - no sharing with other glampers!!! Plus, excellent customer service from Classic Cottages as always - we now go to you before even looking anywhere else and this is a combination of the fantastic, quirky properties you have and your excellent customer care.
Mrs Jewell April 2014
Knightstone Farm Glamping Lodge is a very special holiday destination. The safari tent is extremely spacious and very well equipped with everything you will need for your holiday. With hot water to the kitchen sink and shower it made 'camping' in the middle of the countryside very easy! The en suite facilities are such a bonus and the solar powered lighting was really great for the evenings. The location is very special, we really did feel like we could be on safari (but in England!). We loved using the fire pit and the children loved collecting sticks to help keep the fire going in the log-fired range. There are so many beautiful walks right on your doorstep with the bonus of the lovely old town of Ottery St Mary just a short and very picturesque walk away. We walked into town for our daily provisions including pasties for lunch from the bakery and sausages and burgers for supper from the butchers (there is even a Sainsburys right in the town too!). We did not use our car during our stay as we could just enjoy the countryside around us. Our children aged 6 and 3 had a fabulous time and saw so much nature and wildlife around them. The tent has a really homely feel and so much thought and detail has gone in to making your stay memorable. The beds, linen and duvets kept us really comfortable and warm. I cannot recommend Knightstone Farm Glamping Lodge highly enough. For a holiday deep in the countryside but within easy reach of a local town and very close to the coast too, it really is a must! Thank you to Vicki and Dave for making our stay so welcome and thoroughly enjoyable.
Mr Register April 2014
