The cream tea on arrival was a welcome sight after a long drive. There was plenty of space for all of us at Dowstall Barn, and the layout is excellent. The beds were extremely comfortable; everyone slept well. The showers were powerful and spacious; there was plenty of hot water. Generally very well equipped, both inside and out. The large dining table was great for meals and games. 2 sitting rooms facilitated different activities. Games and books were available too. Suitable for multi generations. Wonderful outside space too and very quiet. Lovely walks from the front door. Would highly recommend....

We had a lovely stay at Dowstall Barn. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. We particularly liked the large farmhouse style kitchen/diner. We felt at home and having comfortable beds was great. We very much hope to stay another time.
