The old Granary is in a lovely scenic peaceful and private setting and the hosts have thoughtfully made sure their guests have everything they need within the accommodation to enjoy their holiday. Leigh farm is also a great base to tour the surrounding area and lovely to return to at the end of the day.

Very well equipped property in a beautiful setting, convenient for Dartmoor and the Devon coast.

Very picturesque property in a rural setting. Very relaxing area with plenty of places to visit.

A lovely home from home. excellent kitchen fully equipped. comfortable bed and a log burner - perfect!

Had a wonderful time. Cannot fault the host who were very welcoming and the cream tea was a lovely surprise upon our arrival! Would stay again as the area was so lovely and peaceful.

Brilliant cottage. Attention to detail on every level. Just be aware the phone signal is patchy but perfect for me as it’s great to get away from screens! Lovely walks and available things to do i.e National Trust places, Bovey Tracy etc. definitely go back there

this is a wonderful little gem. we especially loved the little balcony overlooking the owners garden. great for our afternoon coffee. the log burner was on every night and very easy to light. the welcome cream tea was a nice touch especially after our journey to the cottage .

The Granary is set in a beautiful location - extremely quiet and perfect for a relaxing holiday. Covid precautions and information couldn't have been better and the cottage was exceptionally clean.

Kitchen was best equipped I've ever had. Gave us lovely cream tea on arrival. Really lovely hosts who helped us with anything we needed. Fabulous gardens and surroundings. Wonderful Bird life.

Lovely gardens.

Beautiful, peaceful place. I chose it because it was near my family - when I visit Devon, I usually stay with my parents but a self catering cottage seemed easier in these covid times. The granary is cosy and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. The alpaca are adorable. I plan on staying next time I visit my family.

We had a really wonderful stay at The Granary. The delicious cream tea on arrival set the tone for a very relaxing and enjoyable week in South Devon, and the cottage provided a perfect base for exploring Dartmoor and surrounding areas. The kitchen was also the best equipped we have ever stayed in; the owners have really thought of everything which made self-catering an absolute dream. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and very peaceful, with the occasional sheep bleating in the distance. I'd love to return some day!

A great stay, perfect location, quiet and peaceful. A perfect base for exploring East Dartmoor. Would stay here again.

Comfortable cottage in a peaceful but accessible location in a beautiful part of the country.

A lovely place to get away from it all and relax in peaceful surroundings. Very helpful and pleasant owners.

A lovely cottage in an idyllic setting. Nicely accessible to the local attractions.Very friendly owners who greeted us on arrival and were helpful throughout the visit.

Lovely cottage for two in beautiful gardens. Feels miles away from everywhere but is surprisingly accessible. Cream Tea on arrival a welcome treat!

The cottage is well equipped with everything needed and beautifully furnished. The friendly, caring and helpful owners welcomed me with cream tea and a lovely flower arrangement. Instructions are clear and comprehensive. I especially appreciated the "deck", a wonderful opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the view of the beautiful garden.

Very relaxing rural location, friendly pleasant hosts. Good walking around the fields

Gorgeous comfortable retreat in a great area. Lovely cream tea on arrival - wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you.

Beautiful conversion ideal for a quiet getaway for two. The owners have taken great care with everything, and we were made to feel very welcome. The cream tea on arrival was a nice touch.

If you like peace and quiet, a lovely garden, a barn with a wood-burner and a cosy bed, this is for you. A wooden balcony overlooking the garden. The owners are wonderful. Our dog loved it too.

A nice barn conversion in a lovely old farm with wonderful views and surroundings. A good dog-friendly place to have a happy stay.

Perfect place to relax. Lots of places to visit and some very nice places to eat nearby. Owners went out of their way to help with directions etc.

The place is wonderful. The Cottage is very cosy and the garden is so beautiful. If you want peace, this is just the right place to stay. By the arrival we got a warm welcome from the owners with a nice bunch of flowers and home-made scones.

After gorgeous online interior shots, the reality was rather dark, depressing and dissapointing, not helped by poor lighting and dated soft furnishings. A lovely building in lovely gardens, this cottage just needs a bit more TLC to bring it up to its rating. Good layout however and friendly helpful Owners on site. Absolutly no WiFi or phone signal and dodgy TV. We feel this cottage was expensive for what was provided.

We were so sorry to see that you were unhappy with the property. It is an older property, and the furnishings are in keeping with the feeling of rural charm and, we feel, are very accurately shown on the Web site. It's a shame you found the lighting insufficient and we'll have a chat with the Owners to see if this can be improved. We're glad that the Owners could help quickly with the difficulties you had using the television - no broadband is advertised here and, like many country locations in the area, phone signal is limited. Your feelings re the price are disappointing especially as you booked at a discounted price. Please do feel free to give us a call before booking in future so that we can ensure the property you choose has all the facilities you require. Tanya, Customer Support

We would love to come back anytime!

We spent an idyllic, peaceful week at The Granary and were welcomed warmly on arrival by the Owners and their family. The property had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed the property, grounds and location which was very convenient for visiting many of Devon's attractions. We will be returning.

A very pretty and charming place, felt like something out of a fairy tale.
