It is an amazing place to stay and get a break from the world. It felt like a safe and secluded area to enjoy with friends. I booked a cottage for 6 friend and there were 2 cottages nearby with enough space between us for privacy.

The owner is very accommodating and welcoming, they even left us fresh scones and jam! I recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a comfortable get away.

We had such a wonderful stay at buttercup and would definitely come back again. The kids loved it and it was so beautiful inside and they loved the cabin bed especially! Lots of games to them entertained and tge games room itself cinema room, hot tub, beautiful homemade scones and cream and jam on arrival! , everything had been thought of ! It was amazing! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay x

We had an amazing holiday! They had thought of everything, including a small cinema room for rainy days. Thank you!

Description: 'luxurious', 'comfortable', 'warmth and cosiness ALL YEAR ROUND', 'hot tub - 2 bags per day free'

Cinema room used a couple of times, was pretty good but your in Cornwall so want to be out and about. Pretty much every game in the games room was broken, had parts missing so was useless. The 'honesty shop' was pretty useless when you only have a wood powered range that is impossible to use properly as you can't measure heat. (Thermostat inaccurate) The description made out you had 2 bags of logs for the hot tub and then presumably extra for the stove as its for heating AND cooking, but no. You were given ONE bag of kindling, ONE. Expected to pay for more whenever wood needed. They can't expect in 10 days to keep wood burning constantly - right? There is not nearly enough wood for that. The gas stove outside was broken, grill unusable.

Perhaps the most frustrating of all is 'warmth and cosiness all year round' - this is a blatant LIE I quote the owners: 'yes, this tent is well past its life expectancy, we will probably only keep it another yr perhaps 2. We are replacing them with Lodges.' At night it rattled and Shaked terribly. Kept us awake most of the time. It had wholes all over it, no exaggeration. Walking around it all you see is imperfections and where the fabric has failed. The windows leaked. The worst at the front of the tent. ALL FOUR WINDOWS leaked rain water to the point twice I had to ask for more towels to mop it up. Water was leaking over the power sockets, all over the 'comfortable leather sofa' and all over the floor. It was awful. It was cold in there, we couldn't get anything dry. We told them and the answer we got was: 'Oh yes, the rain is really driving in isnt it.'

Luxurious and Comfortable it wasn't, we won't ever return and will very unlikely ever book with you again as we have zero confidence in the accuracy of property's descriptions. Our neighbours left early by the way which was explained in one way or another by the owners.

PS - We did take a multi bag of crisps (£1.25) from the honesty shop and used the washing machine twice (@ £4 a go) we also had no choice but to use the tumble drier since the air was damp so not paying for it. If they wish to take payment, then let me know as we had forgotten. I will also add, had we not had another booking in North Devon to get to on a specific date we would have left early also.

We were pleased to read that you enjoyed the indoor cinema room and were able to use the laundry and the honesty shop during your stay. We are so sorry you had such poor weather during your stay and rain was driven into the front of the tent by high winds and made its way inside. We are so happy that we could arrange a refund for you as a gesture, and we came to a satisfactory resolution. Sarah R, Customer Support

Buttercup sit in the most lovely location, and makes for a wonderful holiday if you want light and space and air. the surrounding area has load to explore and the coast path is really accessible and beautiful in each direction - to Mousehole and St Loys or Penberth. Its comfy and roomy and was just right for midsummer week

This was the perfect glamping holiday for our family of 4. Comfortable, relaxing and fun!

Definitely worth every penny!! Cannot recommend this place enough, words don’t do it justice

This is a really stunning place to stay. Very special. The tents are sturdy, comfy and warm - even in the (impressive) storm that hit.

We had a wonderful time and are now suffering post holiday blues!! First time glamping and absolutely loved it!! Huge plot of farming land, large accommodation, log burner, powerful shower, plenty of electrics, hot tub under the stars!! Brilliant location, close to a variety of eateries, beaches, walks!! Our dogs absolutely loved it and we felt they were very welcome! Hosts brilliant!!! Scones and flowers on arrival a lovely touch and the constant supply of logs greatly appreciated!! They were helpful but so mindful of your privacy!!!

Can’t recommend the experience highly enough!!! 5 stars from us!!

If you want a brilliant Staycation & the opportunity to enjoy beautiful Cornwall, this is a great place to stay. Get some friends together, make sure you pack plenty of great games, all the essentials & a bottle of fizz (or 2 or 3) and you will have an amazing time whatever the weather. Just be prepared, we were faced with wind & rain but this didn’t deter us. Make sure you take the stunning coastal walk to Mousehole, Coast to Coast Go Karting was also a must for us & finished off with the Polgoon wine tasting.

You get your money's worth

Overall outstanding location and very well equipped safari tent excellent for families with young children and would highly recommend.

We won't hesitate to recommend these safari tents to friends and family, and will also be booking again ourselves in the future. A lovely place to be.

We had the most wonderful stay in Buttercup. Long coastal walks, swimming in the sea, playing with the farm’s dogs and visiting their goats, hot tubs and fires in the evenings, hot showers, really comfy beds, bright shining mornings on the deck with a coffee and views that go on for miles. Glorious. We will most definitely be back.

This was SUCH a great place to come and stay, brilliant location- a little cafe to walk to just down the lane as well as lots of places to visit nearby. We absolutely loved the safari tent and the wood fired stove and hot tub. Highly recommend :)

We loved our stay at Buttercup. The accommodation was everything we thought it would be and more. The freshly baked scones, cream and jam and the fresh flowers were lovely to be greeted with and the hot tub was fabulous. All the information provided in the folder about the area and places to visit was really useful. We had some great day trips. Thank you for a really special holiday.

Buttercup is by far the most glamorous glamping we have done. The owners were very helpful but unobtrusive. They had thought of everything guests would need, such a comfortable tent, ample logs delivered everyday for the hot tub and stove. We would highly recommend this site, and will likely return ourselves.

Beautiful location and great facilities I would recommend this to anyone. The play barn and the trampoline kept the kids happy and we even had a go at the table tennis too. It's a great escape from technology, we didnt advertise the wifi password to the kids! The hot tubs are a great addition too! We had a great holiday

It's fabulous to see that the whole of your party enjoyed their time at Buttercup - there really is something for everyone. Maybe a family table tennis tournament is in order...?! We hope to welcome you back again soon. Tanya, Customer Support

Perfect short break for family of 6 and our pooch. Would highly recomend to anyone who loves the great outdoors but also enjoys a real bed, hot shower and wc! Lots of thoughtful touches throughout the accommodation which made staying a real treat and a total pleasure. Would definitely book again. 5 stars!

We had a lovely stay in Buttercup and would love to go again. The weather was a bit of a challenge as it was cold and wet in some days, however we were able to keep warm with a fire going in the Range and toasted quite a few marshmallows! The location is wonderful, peaceful and within easy reach of some beautiful Cornish beaches. The Honesty shop is a great bonus and the welcome scones and biscuits from the owner are a lovely touch. We stayed over Easter and our 7 year old daughter had a lovely Easter Egg waiting for her on our arrival. We would highly recommend glamping at Lamorna

We had a wonderful family holiday here. Our hosts Margaret and David made us feel very welcome with the most delicious homemade scones with ham and clotted cream on arrival! The tent and location were superb and we would definitely love to visit again!

The cute arrival package was really unexpected and just made our arrival even more lovely. Thank you for a wonderful weekend that we will all remember and treasure.

The property exceeded my expectations, and the owners provided much-appreciated finishing touches such as fresh scones, jam and cream, and fresh flowers.

We had an amazing stay at Buttercup Glamper. The safari tent was great! It was a real adventure for our 3 boys to stay there and be able to roam free around the field and play with new friends on the play equipment. We booked an online food delivery and managed to avoid supermarkets topping up with the honesty shop - we can thoroughly recommend the pasties! The location really is excellent with Sennen Cove, Land's End, The Minack Theatre and St Michael's Mount all within easy reach. A super stay!

We have had the most fabulous holiday at buttercup from a very long journey to get there the moment we arrived we relaxed the children were ecstatic with the accommodation from cream tea left for us and beautifull flowers on the table it was the most welcoming we would definitely recommend but part of me wants it to be our secret hideaway thankyou.

Buttercup is just amazing, a perfect place to get away from it all.

A very relaxing holiday in comfortable and cosy accommodation. Great to get back to basics with the kids but wifi access also kept them connected. The honesty shop was very handy as well as the wheelbarrow to transport bags to the tent.

This was a fabulous property. Delightful throughout, well equipped and furnished to a high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our safari tent experience.

Lovely location for our children to be free. Back to basics and family time.

Fantastic Tent and well equipped. We were welcomed with fresh scones, jam and clotted cream. We couldn't have had a better stay!

Fantastic setup, warm welcome, we had a brilliant time and will definitely return in the future.

If you are looking for a different type of holiday with all the comforts of a cottage but all the fun of camping you will not be disappointed with these safari tents. We had an amazing week and our only disappointment was that we didn't book 2!!
