Trenance is located in a farm, surrounded by fields, and in a very quiet location. The house is comfortable and cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. Although it looks to be a bit remote, you can walk along a footpath through the fields to the main road into St Ives, where you can pick up the coast path (fabulous coast views) or catch the bus or train from Carbis Bay station. One of the owners contacted us on the day before we arrived, to wish us a good holiday, and then on our arrival day to advise us that the house was ready early and therefore we could go in early, which was a bonus! Our welcome pack included eggs from the farm chickens - lovely. ...

Lovely little cottage. Very comfortable and peaceful location. Easy to get into St. Ives on the train.

We had amazing weather for March (I know that can’t be booked in advance !) so sat outside every evening in the lovely garden, breathing in the Cornish air. Walking across the fields you quickly get stunning views of Carbis Bay and Porthkidney beach and seeing St Ives from the coastal path walk makes me want to start painting. I have to mention that the owners gave us some eggs from their hens on the farm which was a lovely touch. All in all it was a great stay. ...
