Aveton cottage is gorgeous, the owners are so generous allowing exclusive access to the facilities, and this makes staying here such a relaxing break. Lovely and quiet. The reception was seamless and friendly even though we were slightly early and immediately made us feel at ease....

My holiday at Averton Cottage was extremely good. We were met by the owner who made us very welcome - the tea and Carrot cake was most appreciated. The cottage itself could not have been better - the games room, gym and swimming pool were also most excellent. The location was superb. This is the first holiday we have ever had where the reality exceeded all expectation and was even better than the brochure!!! We shall be using Classic Cottages again and hope to return to Averton Cottage very soon. Thank you....

Second visit and hope there will be many more. Owners incessantly seek to please their visitors and do a fabulous job. Thank you for sole use of the facilities. Wouldn't enjoy half as much if they were shared!

Very peaceful and relaxing winter short break. The weather was stunning and we enjoyed the country walks across the owners' farmland and along the river. Aveton Cottage was warm, snug and well equipped. We loved swimming in the pool every day and using the gym with its big south facing window allowing the sun to flood in.
