We loved it on arrival as the view was amazing. You have to accept that Cornish weather is variable but on cold days we had a lovely woodburner and on hot days the garden is a real sun trap. Good deck area with recliners.

Loved Owl Barn. The property is comfortable and very spacious, big bedroom and huge bathroom. Useful utility room too, great for storing the dogs gear and dumping boots and rucksacks etc after a days walking. Quiet location, but within walking distance of two good pubs/restaurants and the coastal path. Lovely secure and private garden, great for the dog. Liked the raised patio area with its wonderful sea views. The views are much better than the pictures suggest. Fields and footpaths next to the property, perfect for exercising the dog. Very friendly hosts. ...

this is a lovely cottage in a perfect location. 20 mins walk to trebarwith strand where the port william pub has a friendly greeting and good pub food. the walk there and back isn't the easiest but worth it. the rooms are incredibly spacious especially the bedroom and bathroom. fabulous views from inside the barn and from the decked area. the utility room is most helpful for storing stuff and keeping it out of the way. we enjoyed our stay very much. a great base to explore North and Central Cornwall for our first visit to this lovely part of England ...

Owl Barn was very clean & comfortable, we enjoyed our stay there the views are really lovely & the enclosed garden was perfect f or our sprocker spaniel. Lovely friendly hosts & left you to enjoy your holiday they were on hand if needed.

Owl Barn is a beautiful converted Barn on a small holding of a couple of other barns and the Farm House where the owners live. Everything was clean and fully equipped and most comfortable. Lots of lovely places to visit nearby although I would say you will use your car most days for local towns, eateries, etc. Lovely field at the back if you have a dog. Also it has a fully enclosed garden that your dog can’t escape and that is a hard find. We visited early October and noticed a few places closing for the winter or refurbishment but that’s expected at this time. All in all a wonderful place to stay and would fully recommended especially if you want wonderful views, a comfy barn and fully enclosed garden and willing to use the car to get to nearby towns.
