July 2017

Very comfortable property with added attractions of own secluded garden, hot tub and farm animals to feed.

May 2017

A very quiet and peaceful cottage location, comfortable and spacious accommodation. with good road access to nearby coastal locations, an excellent base to return to following a day out in the Cornish sunshine.

What a gem! Sunset Barn is an ideal location to relax and very dog friendly. My two dogs are older and can take a while but relaxed straight away in part due to the welcome biscuits and blankets, but also the warming under floor heating making it very cosy. The location is perfect for exploring from. Sunrise Barn just across the courtyard had some lovely guests who also had dogs, who gave us some extra places to visit they had tried out. It was great for the dogs to meet each other and they all git on. Very welcoming on arrival, checking we'd settled in ok and found everything, nothing was too much trouble and they were only next door (very reassuring). I can't recommend it highly enough, loved it. The welcoming dog hamper, bottle of wine and feed for the goats and pig were a lovely surprise! Very welcome and added to the feeling of being looked after. Thank you

March 2016

Excellent accommodation for a relaxing break and in a great position to explore Cornwall. Will definitely return.

December 2015

Wonderful cottage- lovely location, brilliant value for money and will definitely recommend to friends

September 2015

As owners of two dogs we found Sunset Barn a cottage of well laid out, cosy, internal spaces and secure external spaces that was conducive to being used as a relaxing holiday destination rather than the planned holiday base. To that end we stayed in, and around, the cottage much more than we had intended to do.

September 2015

We had an excellent holiday and were welcomed and well cared for by the owners, who were there when we needed them, but left us to enjoy ourselves. The narrow approach lane adds a certain excitement to the start and end of the day, and is not for nervous drivers. A great place for dog lovers. It is a happy holiday property, wth horses , goats, chickens, and a pig. These are pets and prospects should not be put off by thinking that this is a working farm

September 2015

Very friendly family, lovely location, lots of farm animals. Very relaxing week!

September 2015

very good accommodation for a holiday with a dog

July 2015

Location perfect for most of West Cornwall. Sunset Barn was thoughtfully equipped with baby cot, high chair, bowls, cutlery etc Lovely family who own it! SO helpful that things like washing machine and dishwasher tablets, cloths, tea, coffee and sugar were all there. Plenty of towels - really helpful with 2 little ones. The farm itself was wonderful for our 2 1/2 year old. He loved it!

July 2015

Lovely well equipped cottage in rural location. Lovely garden.

June 2015

we really enjoyed our holiday and we wouldn't hesitate to book a cottage with you again. Polly and Andy were very friendly and helpful, we had a break problem with our car and they recommended a garage in Hayle who were brilliant. the animals were excellent the goats made me laugh and the whole experience was relaxing

June 2015

We loved staying at Sunset Barn, a holiday to remember. Thank you

April 2015

The cottage was in a wonderful location for exploring both the east and west coast of Cornwall. It was very spacious, had everything you would need for a week away from home and the children loved the animals on the farm. A wonderful holiday and we will definitely be back!

September 2014

Cottage is in good central location for south Cornwall, only small problem is to be aware of VERY narrow lane access, which was improved when hedge was cut. Local pub is excellent, St Aubyn Arms, good food and very friendly. Two very attentive cats at property, often waiting on window ledges for us to get up in morning!

August 2014

Great house in a great place to explore Cornwall. Not far from St. Ives and the Lizard peninsula. Our child loved all the animals including the two Cats. It has the same feel at home. Beautiful garden and very good facilities.

July 2014

The perfect family experience: gorgeous beaches nearby, plenty of interesting local attractions, a peaceful, comfortable cottage and loads of farm animals to keep the children happy!

May 2014

Excellent location - quiet and peaceful but with easy access to beaches and activities. Lovely cottage with lots of animals. Highly recommended.

March 2014

A fabulous stay. the cottage is just fantastic, the owners are brilliant and nothing is too much, they are very helpful and always around if help is needed. The cottage has now got excellent Wi-fi with excellent conection. the owners have dog kennels if you need to leave your dog for the day whilst you go and visit a non dog friendly place. Can not recomend the cottages enough, 2 1/2 years ago we stayed at Sunrise, and loved that as much. We will be staying with Andy and Polly again. the animals are all in good condition.

October 2013

A beautiful place, well fitted out and in a great location - hard to beat!
