Nancealverne House is a most interesting, historic family home and a wonderful place to stay. Set in beautiful grounds you can explore, the house is grand with elegant, airy rooms. We loved the many family portraits lining the walls which bring the fascinating history of the place to life and enjoyed trying to work out who’s who. We all felt very comfortable during our stay. The house was clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. Everyone loved the spacious rooms where we could get together as a family after such a long time, as well as having their own space when needed.Eating together in the conservatory was an enjoyable experience whatever the weather. Being able to buy fresh vegetables from the onsite market garden was great. We loved the peace and quiet. We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful old house. Nancalverne is close to many lovely places to visit but the best thing is coming back here at the end of the day to it’s warm and welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking forward to staying here again....

We enjoyed barbecues in the garden and whole family meals in the room with the rocking horse and vine. Such A beautiful quirky interesting Historic Place to stay. We bought fresh veg and plants from the Enterprising women gardeners and enjoyed the peaceful escapism but also the ease of walking into Penzance and Newlyn. Perfect really. ...
