Lovely peaceful cottage in a great location for exploring west and central Cornwall. Our six year old loved the trampoline and being so close to the wonderful Porthtowan beach was fantastic. Owner was friendly, on hand if required but not at all intrusive.

Brilliant Location, Newquay, Perranporth, St Ives, Mevagissey all with 20/30 mins away! Very homey and brilliant for little children. My 2 year old little girl loved the play room and all the space to run round outside and be so close to the animals. They have thought of so much so you don't need to bring anything from home, I wish i'd known there was airer for washing, an iron and ironing board, and all the stuff I needed for my baby and toddler like bibs, cups, bowls, baby food blender, cutlery, toilet step, even bath toys! I wouldn't have needed to pack so much into the car lol! Loved it and will definitely want to go back again.

Excellent location and super safe for those with younger children.

The owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. It is ideal for young children, our boys loved visiting the chickens and looking for eggs, playing with Hammy the dog and running around the large garden.

This is a lovely cottage and perfect for children. The location is perfect and the cosy woodburner ensures that chilly evenings are warm. The garden is a great suntrap and it's lovely seeing the animals whilst having your evening drink on the terrace. Great views too!

Really close to the great beaches around the area and the farm shop at the end of the lane is great.

Maria and Nick the owners are very friendly and helpful and their spaniel dog was a delight. We would definitely want to go back.

A great place for young children with lots of outside space. Very relaxed owners. A marvellous dog which we wanted to take home with us.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay, with all comfort you could ask for. It's an ideal place for the kids, too. Plus - you can reach any location in west Cornwall for a day trip if need be (but some of the top attroctions and beaches are just around the corner anyway). A place to return to!

Good comfortable space with lots of useful extras for kids. Very warm welcome from owners. Lovely farm setting.

Great cottage in a great location, with the trampoline, chickens, horses and family dog it felt like a day out in itself for our 19 month old son.

Loved the location and cottage, will definitely be back :-)

We enjoyed going to see the chickens everyday.

Full marks for the privacy, owners near by but you didn't notice.

Excellent cottage in a great location.

September 2013

Great location for family seaside holidays. The cottage is ideal for toddlers and very comfy for tired out parents too. We discovered many little bonuses on arrival - a proper cream tea with scones and jam was particularly welcome! We also had lovely country views from the back, complete with friendly chickens and horses over the back fence. The decking at the back makes a truly peaceful little sun trap. The cottage is very well equipped with toys, child desk area, child bath and changing mats, plastic cutlery and mini non slip bowls etc. There is a private garden area plus a shared trampoline round the corner. The owners were relaxed and helpful hosts, invisible unless we needed them. All in all a great holiday cottage and highly likely we will rebook.
