With sweeping views across heather covered mountains, patch-work forests and crystal-clear lochs, Ailsa is a secluded, luxurious cabin for two, deep in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Throughout the seasons, from blissful summers to starry winter skies where even the Northern Lights may make an appearance, this unique location is perfect for a romantic getaway or a base for exploring, and your four-legged friend is welcome to join you too.

Located on a remote hillside with just one other secluded cabin as your neighbour, you will be enchanted from the moment you arrive. Ailsa has been cleverly constructed to ensure your stay is perfect in every way, from the fine Egyptian cotton bedding to the Smart TV for chilled evenings in front of the wood burner. All on one level, the open plan living space takes in the panoramic views from the front aspect so you can enjoy the scenery from dawn until dusk. The kitchen area has all the equipment you’ll need including the all-important dishwasher, a coffee machine and fridge with ice box. With a handy breakfast bar, cosy seating and a warming wood-burner, Ailsa has all you need for a year-round break.

Outside, the hot tub awaits, where you can relax and enjoy your complimentary Champagne and take in the views – the perfect holiday pastime. Whether you are looking for an out of season escape or a summer holiday, Ailsa has all you need for an escape to the Highlands.

The Kyle of Sutherland is renowned for its breathtaking scenery and perfect for those looking for an escape from the everyday. Ailsa is located a short stroll away from Loch Migdale where you can picnic, paddle, wild swim, kayak or paddle board. You will also find a selection of walks too, ideal if you’re on the lookout for wildlife. From gentle meanders around the local area to attempting more challenging hikes bagging Munro’s, hikers will be right at home here. Cyclists too will find plenty to keep them occupied with a good selection of forest trails and single track roads to explore.

If you are yearning some local culture, head for the charming coastal town of Dornoch, home to the most northerly cathedral. The beaches along this stretch of coast are rather wonderful with miles of golden sand from Dornoch Firth to Loch Fleet. The town itself has a good selection of independent shops, cafes and the obligatory Whisky distilleries. However you plan to spend your idyllic break in the Highlands, Ailsa will be a place you’ll never want to leave.

There is one other hideaway onsite should you wish to book a group getaway:Eriska (6219). Both cabins are positioned in a way that you have complete privacy.
