Enter into the contemporary kitchen which has everything you need to enjoy preparing memorable meals with the delights of local produce. The small but lovingly designed boot-room invites you to hang up your coats and kick off your walking shoes after an energising hike around the myriad of walking trails close by. The dining-area has open views of the loch and a very pretty sitting-room invites quiet mornings watching the loch below and evenings watching the light fade over the water, a place where a good book and a cup of tea come into their own. There is a Smart TV for those who don’t want to miss their favourite programmes.

The area's famous feral mountain goats can often be seen grazing along the shoreline, particularly around nearby Kingairloch.
For a more relaxed pace, why not try fishing directly from the shores of Loch Linnhe in front of the cottage? No permits are required, and during the summer months the loch is alive with mackerel, making it the perfect excuse to bring your fishing rods.
Just a five minute walk along the lochside brings you to Ardgour Ales, a welcoming local brewery serving craft beers and home-baked bread. It's a wonderful spot for a leisurely lunch or to join locals and visitors alike for the popular Friday pizza nights.
If you'd rather leave the cooking to someone else, take a stroll in the opposite direction to the Ardgour Inn, conveniently located beside the Corran Ferry slipway. Here you'll find a warm highland welcome and a great selection of evening meals.
A short crossing on the Corran Ferry takes you to Fort William, the outdoor capital of the UK. Nestled beneath the towering slopes of Ben Nevis, Fort William offers a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and visitor attractions. From here, you can also join a boat trip on Loch Linnhe, providing a unique perspective of the surrounding mountains, glens and coastline.
For those seeking a true highland challenge, Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK at 4,413 feet (1,345 metres), is within easy reach. Guided walks and mountain tours are available for those wishing to experience this iconic peak and its breathtaking views.

The quickest way to reach the property is via a five minute sailing on a small car ferry, alternatively you can drive the long way round via Fort William. Although there are enough beds for three, this is for flexibility and the property sleeps two only.
