The owners kindly provide you with a parking permit for the private car park at Putsborough beach, one and a half miles from the cottage.
Saunton Sands is nearby - a vast expanse of sand to enjoy!
The church is at the heart of this pretty village.

Woolacombe is magical.
Croyde Beach is loved by surfers.

Georgeham is a very pleasant village away from the main resorts and also visitors to the area so quieter but within 5 minutes drive of the coast. Attractively furnished cottage and well-equipped kitchen, also very private.

It was an ideal location for us, we booked fairly last minute and wanted to stay near family. A gorgeous village which I remember from many years ago when I came with a girls' camp. Our family loved the wonderful beaches nearby and despite pretty blustery weather, the sun shone most of the time and kite flying, surfing, horse riding and sandcastle building were much enjoyed. We would certainly come to the artea and hopefully Orchard Dene again!...
