The owners kindly provide you with a parking permit for the private car park at Putsborough beach, one and a half miles from the cottage.
Saunton Sands is nearby - a vast expanse of sand to enjoy!

Woolacombe is magical.
Croyde Beach is loved by surfers.

We felt very comfortable in Orchard Dene. The couple that owns the house next door is very friendly, helpful and restrained in typical English style. As always property came up to expectations thoroughly enjoyed staying there again and Mrs Meek is the most lovely host you could have. Always pleasant, cheerful and helpful in every way. This was a lovely property in a small friendly village. We had everything we needed in the house. Access to local surfing was easy early on in the day but be prepared for lots of cars down tight lanes at busier times. Worth the effort for wonderful local beaches. Would recommend without hesitation....

We have booked holidays through Classic Cottages for over 20 years and experienced a variety of properties. Orchard Dean is a favourite due to the overall high standard they maintain and its location. We have also been happy with the overall service of Classic Cottages over the years....
