The cottage is extremely well appointed and very comfortable,and John and Sally the owners are most helpful and freindly,and met us on our arrival.The cottage setting in the grounds of their house is truly special and the views amazing. The cottage is in a lovely quiet spot just on the edge of Churchinford village and central for exploring the Somerset area. We had a lovely week there and hopefully will return next year. Churchinford is Ideally located for exploring Somerset and beyond. The local pub, The York Inn, is only 400 yards away and the staff are very welcoming. The food menu is also varied enough to suit all tastes. We found the food excellent. Make sure you book a table though as it gets very busy. The cottage is lovely and quiet. The owners, Sally and John, are very welcoming and caring and they make sure you have everything to enjoy your stay. The cottage is very light and airy especially when it’s sunny. It also boasts wonderful decor and you won’t be disappointed....

This is a lovely peaceful cottage, but close to the pub and local shop. It was easy to get out and about in the local area and out to the coast - both North and South. Sally and John were extremely welcoming. We really enjoyed sitting out in the evenings and appreciated the dark skies....

The Cottage at Ford Barton is a perfectly clean, comfortable and well equipped property, ideally located to explore Somerset, East Devon and Dorset. We came all the way from France but it was more than worth it. We felt completely at home, including our two teenage children who highly appreciated the bath! I loved having breakfast in the patio, enjoying the beautiful and peaceful garden. The owners are so kind and welcoming. We couldn't wish for a better holiday. Thank you so much Sally and John for this wonderful stay at The Cottage. We hope to come back!...
