The grounds are shared with the friendly but unobtrusive owners. The property to right (with the green door) sleeps three and is also available to book - Horseshoe Cottage. The floor above Stable Cottage is not currently in use.
Pretty Chagford is just a short drive away and has some lovely village amenities, including pubs and independent shops.
Dartmoor has some idyllic landscapes and riverside walks.
There are sublime views to behold across Dartmoor.
The south coast is not far away - this is beautiful Shaldon.
Teignmouth is definitely worth a visit.
Such a lovely spot to soak up the sun.

A stunning cottage, superbly fitted out with everything you could possibly need. Very quiet location, when all you can are the birds. Owners extremely helpful and friendly. Only thing I would point out is that the access to the cottage off the nearest 'main' road is down a typically narrow road which can be a bit disconcerting when coming across a tractor coming the other way! But presume this is quite normal for a lot of country cottages so don't be put off. Highly recommend....
