We had a fabulous stay at Meadowbank taking full advantage of the many walks and amenities being easily accessible without always having to use the car. As well as being beautifully renovated with all mod cons along with some quirky retro fittings and posters, the property is in a wonderful location with views out over the recreation ground, the wooded valley and the Bristol Channel. When the night sky is clear you can really appreciate Exmoor being a designated Dark Sky area. The stars are amazing!...

We had a wonderful week's holiday at Meadowbank with all our family. The house was all we expected and more...with bags of character. We felt at home straight away and were all sorry to leave. The house is in a beautiful, peaceful setting just a few minutes walk from Porlock and there are plenty of lovely walks, beaches and places to visit nearby. The terrace was a lovely place to relax, enjoy a BBQ and soak up the evening sun after a busy day. Our 2 grandchildren (aged 3 and 7) loved the garden and having the recreation ground and playground so accessible through the gate at the bottom of the garden. ...

Definitely 'Far from the madding crowd'. Beautiful house, gorgous countryside. We especially loved the vintage interior. We would certainly recommend this house !

We had a lovely Christmas break at Meadowbank. The welcome pack and Christmas card was a lovely touch. As were the Christmas decorations. The very well equipped kitchen made catering for our party much easier. Porlock was beautiful as always.
