A very nice comfortable cottage in great location for exploring the area with plenty of places to visit, we enjoyed Chichester Bosham and Chidham in particular

Lovely cottage in a perfect location. Only 7 miles from Goodwood which was perfect as we attended the Festival of Speed. Bed was very comfy and plenty of clothes storage. Shower was excellent. The cottage was also light and airy.

An excellent find! A calm, quiet position and yet easy to access walks and routes to other places. Friendly property owners who have designed a super self-catering home and included everything visitors could need on a break away. Highly recommended. We hope to return - thank you!...

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay at The Old Stables with its modern touch but still showing some former features. It's always so nice to find that calm within everyday life and to be able to access the lovely Sussex coast and countryside from one base is priceless. Donna, Customer Support. ...

Very comfortable cottage. Well equipped. The location very good. Lovely to come back to after a day out. Very interesting to see how barn looked before conversion. Amazing outcome. Mustn’t forget to mention Mamawu cafe. Great to have a cafe just round the corner. Hope to be back later in the year....

Well located cottage, close to coastal path for nice walks in either direction whilst enjoying the sea views. Excellent open plan living area, comfortable lounge, well equipped kitchen, all very clean. Shower a decent size, plenty of hot water with good pressure. Good amount of clothes storage for 2 people in the bedroom. Bed comfortable, the fact it is quite low was not a problem for us. Cottage is well illuminated with natural light plus modern lighting, this is a pleasant change as many cottages we have been to before are poorly lit with low energy bulbs. Nice private walled garden, not overlooked. We had excellent meals at The Travellers Joy (10 minute walk) and The Bosham Inn (5 min drive, probably walkable but it was raining). We also had lunch at the Courtyard, Southsea Castle which was quite expensive for lunch but very good quality and filling. Southsea Castle is free to visit and the surrounding seafront area is being improved. We had an enjoyable walk from the castle along the promenade to Portsmouth old town, with lots of shipping activity in the channel to observe, and we watched the hovercraft setting out. Loads of roadside parking plus D-Day landing attraction car park, all payable but not expensive. We also spent a day in the New Forest which was lovely. ...
