We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and incredibly well equipped. Everything was really comfortable and the layout was really well thought out. It couldn’t have been better! The location was great too . It was only a ten minute walk down to the harbour where you can see all sorts of wild life. There were plenty of lovely walks in the area. We were able to visit Chichester, Arundel, The Weald and Downland Museum, Petworth House and Amberley Open air museum …all within no more than 35 minutes drive. A fabulous base ……highly recommended! ...

The Old Stables is a gem of a place! It is in a great location for walks both around beautiful Chichester Harbour - 5 minutes walk away and for walks inland. I was at home immediately in the comfortable living space with the soft, sea like colours of the furnishings and a fabulous bed! It only took moments to begin to relax. The garden is a sun trap where you can sit and read or have you breakfast. Your every need has been thought of in the property and it was pleasure to return to after being out walking or sightseeing. Sone mornings it’s was hard to leave to go out and explore as it is so welcoming. There is so much to do nearby and a wealth of pubs and places to eat. I ran out of time to do everything I wanted to! ...

This is a gem of a space for two with a lovely open plan design making it a very sociable space while remaining cosy. Whether you are walkers or tourists this cottage is located close to Chichester and Fishbourne but within five minutes of the coastal creek and footpath. Had it been summer, we could have enjoyed the garden; as it was November we were still delighted to be woken by the sun rising and shining each morning through the lovely arched windows....
