A comfortable cosy cottage very near the town centre but on a quiet street with a lovely small enclosed garden which is a real suntrap in which to relax. The town square with its good selection of interesting shops is just two minutes walk away and there are several nice cafes and restaurants to enjoy. We found a number of circular country walks nearby which will suit those looking for either a strenuous walk or a gentle stroll. We did not find the church bells and clock chimes at all intrusive. For those wishing to use public transport there are busses from the town square to Yeovil and Bridport, with connections from the latter along the Jurassic Coast in both directions....

My husband and I had a wonderful three-night stay at Fox Cottage. From the moment we entered the property we were wowed by it and felt completely at home. It is so tastefully furnished and decorated and very much to our taste. After a long walk or a meal out we couldn’t wait to return to ‘our’ cosy cottage. It is located right in the heart of beautiful Beaminster with its gorgeous shops and eateries and friendly locals. ...

A lovely little cottage which was so well equipped. Everything was new and very good quality. We really enjoyed our short break here . The sound of the church clock was not worrying or distracting to us at all.
