Barton Manor Farmhouse was a great place to host our family gathering. It suited us all; from the 18 month old to the 77year old in the party. The games room, and board games were a great hit with everyone! The location was ideal for us, as we like peace and quite, places to walk from the property and a road for the 5 year old to cycle and scoot! It's well equipped kitchen was welcome. A huge thank you to Classic Cottages and the wonderful Barton family for a truly magical stay at Barton Manor Farmhouse. From the moment we arrived at this magnificent historic property, the peace, tranquillity and stunning surroundings instantly put us in holiday mode. We spent a fantastic week exploring with the children, wandering through Barton's woodland to the private beach, bodyboarding in the waves at Yaverland, building sandcastles in Bembridge and enjoying a little window shopping in Cowes. The farmhouse itself is spacious, beautifully presented and well equipped. Despite the summer heat, it remained wonderfully cool throughout our stay. We particularly appreciated the generous bedrooms and sociable living spaces, and many evenings were spent relaxing with a G&T on the patio while wild peacocks strolled past. Our young children were delighted by the maze and the folly, and we enjoyed countless family walks around the lake. This is a truly special place that offers the perfect escape and a proper family holiday. Thank you, Barton, for such a memorable stay. We returned home with sand between our toes, smiles on our faces and memories that will last a lifetime. We will most definitely be back. ...

Barton Manor Farmhouse is a wonderful property for a family holiday; set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Walks through the woods to the private beach are thoroughly recommended. We absolutely loved our stay at Barton Manor. The house is fantastic - so well equipped and beautifully decorated. We felt very relaxed and ‘at home’.
