We loved our three night stay at The Wagon with our two young children in March. The secluded location with beautiful views made for a very quiet and peaceful stay. Everything we needed was available and there was a lovely hamper with eggs, apple juice and scones as an unexpected extra which we thoroughly enjoyed. The beds were comfy and ample towels provided and it was very clean. We’d definitely recommend The Wagon with faraway views. ...

I couldn’t find anything negative to say about this place if I even tried! We had the most wonderful stay. The owner met us on arrival, she was lovely and welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble. Also a lovely touch which was a small hamper for us on arrival with Apple juice, eggs, milk, scones with jam and cream! Thank you! The place itself is a little slice of heaven. Situated perfectly out the way of the hustle and bustle, with the most beautiful scenic views all around. We took our dog which was perfect for her, all fully enclosed gardens with so much space for her to run around and enjoy. The hot tub was perfect the whole weekend. We made use of the log burner which was lovely. The little wooden bench on the veranda was such a wonderful spot for a morning coffee to catch the sunrise, which we did. Myself & my partner had an amazing 4 night stay at the Wagon with our dog Ralph (we didn't want to leave!) The Wagon itself had everything you needed and was super cosy and comfortable, with amazing views of the surrounding fields, featuring lots of cows and ponies! The hot tub was a lovely bonus and was the perfect way to finish the day after a nice walk on Dartmoor! We will absolutely be coming back in the future....

My adult daughter and I had a lovely few days unwinding in the Wagon. It was quiet, very comfortable and well equipped. The covered decking was a great place to sit for hours, even when raining, watching activity in the nearby fields and oak tree. The friendly owners welcomed us and then left us in peace - having left us a cream tea, eggs and bottle of local apple juice. The Bow garden centre and farm/gift shop is only a few miles away and made for an enjoyable outing for lunch one day....

We had a lovely relaxing week with our 2 children (9 & 4) at the wagon. The place was peaceful and beautiful with plenty of outdoor space all to ourselves. Seeing the horses everyday in the field opposite was a great bonus! Even though the wagon is very much in the secluded countryside you’re very quickly on a main road with easy access to villages and bigger towns. The owners are very friendly and not intrusive. The little welcome basket on arrival with cream tea, fresh eggs and apple juice was a very nice gesture. ...
