We have visited The Pump House several times. Excellent hosts who are so welcoming and put you completely at your ease and there if you need any help or advice. Excellent farm shop and cafe/garden centre just two minutes down the lane....also very friendly and dog friendly. An idyllic retreat in a beautiful location with glorious walks locally and places to visit. Hive beach a short drive away plus a short walk to the excellent White Horse Inn in Haslebury Plucknet....superb food and amazing Sunday roasts. The one note of caution would be that the gardens may not be secure for small dogs. ...

Totally enjoyable stay, very attentive and helpful host. Very serene surrounding. Thank you Judith! The cottage met our expectations, and for a walking stick user, the spiral stairs did not pose that much of a hassle. Would happily rebook this cottage....

We stayed at the Pump House for one week in September for my Birthday. The property is beautiful in a super location to get around the area. Judith had provided many lovely treats for when we arrived. The cleanliness was perfect, something I am a little paranoid about having allergies. The kitchen is well equipped with everything hubby needed to cook for me all week! What a treat! The garden is gorgeous too, which our little poodle loved, its totally secure so she had the freedom to wander around. The bedroom and bathroom were as downstairs, clean and stocked with all the things you need, like a hairdryer and exceptionally clean bedding and towels. I want to know what Judith does her laundry in, as the bedding and towels smelt fresh all week, and didn't make me itch! Judith is a fabulous lady, who provides a beautiful property, and she is very funny and warm with a truly beautiful soul from our relatively short meeting with her. We will absolutely be booking with Judith again. Just a note- The property sign is slightly hidden behind bushes, but essentially the access lane to the property is directly opposite the Farm shop, Willis lane- Turn into Willis Lane, and you go past the first gate , and then the Pump House entrance is on the left. (We got a bit lost finding it initially) A super place, hosted by a super human. Thank you xxx...

This was a truly wonderful cottage. Perfect location, very comfortable and well equipped. The large fully enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely rebook for next year.

We had a wonderful time at The Pump House. This was the nicest and best equipped cottage we ever stayed at. We enjoyed the little patio and the madow garden very much. Our dogs loved it too :-) We definately will visit again.
