The farm is set in a gentle valley about a mile from the little town of Colyton.
Another newly created visitor attraction is the Seaton Wetlands - a peaceful nature reserve which attracts many species of birds.

You can visit the Seaton Wetlands any time but the bird hides are not open every day so do check.
The famous Seaton Tramway is a must! There is a station in Colyton and the route along the Axe Valley is beautiful.
Seaton has a pretty harbour as well as the long pebbled beach.
The coastal town of Seaton is just a few miles away. This is the brand new Jurassic Visitor Centre - a great place to visit with young children.

We had a long journey from Bedfordshire and arrived later than we would have liked. I would recommend leaving earlier regardless of the checking in time and stopping somewhere nearby before heading to the cottage for the 4pm check in. The owner Sandra welcomed us on arrival and said she would pop by in the morning to check everything was okay. Lovely fresh flowers and biscuits was left on kitchen table and a pint of milk in fridge. The cottage itself was very spacious and presentable. It is a little bit old in places, squeaky floor boards in the living room. Kitchen floor tiles uneven especially near the entrance to the living room so care needs to be taken. Cottage was fully equipped for self catering, so shouldn’t need to bring anything. It was a peaceful stay and the hot tub was used to ease aching muscles after days out to Charmouth fossil hunting and Lyme Regis. ...

Had a great break. The hot tub and games room were a real bonus. Well equipped kitchen and also a second fridge which was very handy. The Lake being so close was appreciated by the one fisherman from our group. Once out of a few local country lanes, some lovely areas to visit....

Delightful cottage in a beautiful tranquil location that instilled a wonderful sense of calm. Great location for us as we were walking the South West Coast Path. My husband was particularly impressed by the fishing lake which was a real treat for him and better than places we have stayed that have led with fishing as the main attraction.
