Appledore sits opposite Instow and a passenger ferry runs between the two during the summer months.
North Devon is renowned for its incredible coastline, miles and miles for all the family to enjoy. Great for surfing, kite surfing and walking. This is the beach at Instow.
Catch the passenger ferry from Bideford Quay for a day of birdwatching on Lundy Island.
Charming Clovelly is a short car journey away.
Sit and admire the view from the harbour at Clovelly.
Have a day of adventure at North Devon Wake Park where you can wakeboard, paddle board or enjoy the giant aquapark!
Bideford is a pretty market town.

The property is a brilliant location and accommodating for a self catering situation. We found the bed and pillows ( double bed ) uncomfortable, maybe a bit worn out! If we had any issues Ken was absolutely brilliant, and he had a nice friendly manner which nothing was too much trouble. Classic Cottages office was also helpful in accommodating my dilemma! I was looking for a holiday away from everybody and this met every expection. In a beautiful yet secluded location this little cottage has everything you could wish for. Very clean, lovely comfy beds, great little garden and huge outdoor spaces. Hope to visit again before too long....
