Liz and Gerald were wonderful hosts - thoughtful, always there when we needed something but otherwise left us to enjoy the cottage and its surroundings in peace. They have created a cosy, comfortable, relaxing home from home with everything we needed to relax, unwind and enjoy the surrounding countryside with our dog, Toby. The location is simply stunning with views to enjoy in every direction and only a short walk out of the driveway to a bubbling stream or into the woods or fields. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great location within a short drive to the coast and the sites and sounds of both Devon and Cornwall....

If you like to see the stars at night and don’t often experience total silence then this is the place. Absolute isolation with no mobile phone signal and nothing but trees in every direction, really is the place to unwind for a few days. Furnishings are a little 90’s but it adds to the charm. Leat Mill was yet another great classic cottage find! A beautiful setting and a really beautiful cottage. The owners were really helpful yet unobtrusive. A superb cream tea was waiting on our arrival - very welcome and Gerald supplied much needed help before we left repairing our slight car mishap do we could drive home safely!
