We had a wonderful stay at Rydon. The location is stunning and the owners were very helpful and unobtrusive. The barn was just the right mix of luxuriousness and relaxed country comfort, we all took the opportunity to unwind - even the dog, who was made very welcome. There were a variety of walks to enjoy from the doorstep, and the rolling Devon hills were good to get the heart rate going! Would recommend a visit to the Cridford Inn in Trusham (1m walk across fields or a mile and a quarter down the drive and along the country lanes) as well as the Manor Inn at Lower Ashton (around a 40 minute off-road amble down through the valley past the river - very pretty). Easy to reach and explore Dartmoor, and just a short distance from Exeter with good access to A38 and rail connections. We'd definitely return....

Rydon is simply exquisite! We had a wonderful stay exploring local sites and relaxing by the pool. We loved the outdoor fire in the evening. The house is beautifully decorated and has all you need to relax and enjoy a bit of luxury. We would highly recommend staying here....
