We felt instantly at home the moment we walked through the door. Bay Tree Cottage has such a cosy feel, like staying in the home of an old friend rather than renting a 'holiday property'. The cottage provided us with a perfect base for seeing old friends and visiting some of our favourite haunts in the area. We especially enjoyed following the bridle path into Beaminster where we had a splendid lunch in the sunny courtyard at Cilla and Camilla. Sadly we could only stay for four nights on this occasion, but we'll definitely be returning for a longer holiday....

Very well equipped and homely cottage in a lovely quiet village. Pretty garden to sit in when weather allows. We would certainly stay there again.
