Apple Cottage is a fabulous family home; spacious, welcoming and beautifully furnished. Location is key to the success of any multi-generational holiday home, and locations don't get any better than this.

Nestled on the outskirts of glorious Dartmoor National Park, a pleasurable car drive away from the stunning south Devon coast and all the glorious beaches on offer, and within easy reach of a plethora of 'must see' towns and villages, you will not fail to fill your holiday at Apple Cottage with adventure and exploration; the making of some truly magical memories await.

Semi-detached Apple Cottage is surrounded by trees, woodland and an outburst of nature and wildlife, which makes relaxing in the manicured gardens a real pleasure. With a scattering of neighbours nearby, you have the best of both worlds - space to run wild, yet a friendly face to greet you in passing.

Playing, dining and relaxing in this fabulous house is so easy to do. The large open plan kitchen, dining and snug area is a great space to gather whilst the chef whips up a feast. Retiring to the cosy yet spacious sitting-room is just the ticket after any meal.

The living area also opens out onto the patio and beautiful lawned area beyond, which provides front row seats to enjoy the night life and a spot of star gazing before bed. The perfect way to finish the evening before heading up to beautifully furnished bedrooms and sumptuous beds where a fabulous night's sleep awaits.

Apple Cottage offers everything you will possibly need for that special family holiday. Location, beautiful interiors, a fabulous garden and patio, along with being a stone's throw away from one of the main south Devon link roads. Heading off in any direction, to any chosen attraction or destination, is so easy to do from this fabulous house.

If you can tear yourself away from relaxing in the garden with a good book whilst the rest of the party play, relax or explore, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to places to visit, experience, and enjoy.

Being so close to the stunning south Devon coast, a day or three on one of the many sandy beaches is a must. A pleasurable car journey will find you in the heart of the south Devon coast, where numerous golden sandy beaches such as Bigbury-on-Sea, Bantham and Thurlestone Beach all await.

For the adrenaline junkies of the group, windsurfing, bodyboarding and kayaking are just some of the few water sports at your disposal on these stunning beaches. Or perhaps a more relaxed day of sunbathing with a touch of rock pooling sounds more like it, these glorious beaches and surrounding areas offer this and much more. If the beach is not on your agenda, then the scenery and beauty of the coast can also be enjoyed whilst walking the coastal paths.

Or perhaps a shopping trip mixed in with a spot of fine dining is the order of the day. If so, you have the eclectic market town of Totnes within 20 minutes away, or head slightly further afield up the A38 to the beautiful Cathedral City of Exeter or naval city of Plymouth. All of which offer numerous eateries, shopping venues and sights galore.

Not forgetting you have a helping of fabulous eateries right on your doorstep, all ready and set to greet you with a warm Devon welcome. If enjoying a light lunch washed down by a pint of the locally-produced cider sounds just the ticket, close by you have the super popular Turtley Corn Mill Inn and Horse and Groom pub - both perfect for giving 'chef' the night off.

A holiday in this special part of the world is not complete without spending a day exploring Dartmoor National Park and all its wonderful sights and inhabitants. Don your walking boots, pack a picnic and be prepared to enjoy some of the most spectacular countryside views whilst you rub shoulders with the stunning Dartmoor ponies. Dartmoor offers wonder and adventure for all ages, guaranteeing a magical day out for all the family.

Returning to Apple Cottage, sparking up the barbecue and popping a bottle of something tasty is a great way to finish the day whilst planning tomorrow's adventures. Enjoy!
