There are fabulous beaches and miles of coastal footpaths to discover.
The historic house, gardens and parkland at Lanhydrock make for a great day out. If you enjoy adventures on two wheels there is also a network of cycling trails.

We had a lovely stay at Barton Cottage. A very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Very clean. Perfectly positioned for easy access to all the lovely Cornwall attractions. Tim and Laura were very welcoming and lovely. Oh, and you can't forget Basil, with a inquisitive and friendly mind - what a boisterous lively feeling of fun and enthusiasm from a very attractive, lovely and friendly dog. I would definitely recommend this cottage....

Very clean and tidy property, everything was there that we needed. It was like Tim and Laura had stayed in the cottage themselves to know exactly what was needed! They were also excellent hosts, not obtrusive at all but there when we needed them. Which all we needed them for was extra wood because the property was so well stocked. Thoroughly recommend both Barton Cottage and Classic Cottages...

Barton Cottage had everything you need for self catering holiday. The kitchen was fully equipped and of a very high standard, the lounge area was comfortable, the bedroom and bathroom were also very comfortable and the shower worked perfectly. We loved the remote quiet location in the middle of rural Cornwall however Looe was only a short drive away where you gave access to beach, boat trips, restaurants, shops etc etc. The owners Laura and Tim were very friendly welcoming and approachable and we loved meeting and making a fuss of Basil the bonkers but beautiful Labrador. We would thoroughly recommend Barton Cottage to anyone! ...
