A classic red brick Victorian home, Haslemere is just a short walk from Yarmouth village. It would suit a family nicely but could be equally enjoyed by several friends travelling together. Once through the front door, you will be thrilled to find not one but two comfortable sitting rooms that provide space for family time together and relaxing on your own. A bright, welcoming dining room leads out to a well-equipped kitchen. Just outside the kitchen is a lovely, mature garden. This delightful green space offers several seating areas where you will no doubt want to dine al fresco during your stay. A wonderful spot for grown-ups and children alike, this little Eden is certainly one of the many things that make this holiday home so special. Haslemere has three bedrooms on the first floor; a double, a twin room and a single room with an extra pull-out bed. In addition, you will find a modern family bathroom. Situated near the River Yar, the picturesque location of Haslemere is certainly part of its charm. Here you are only minutes from public footpaths that offer one of the prettiest walks the Island has to offer. Stroll around the boat yards and quiet marinas, as well as through leafy forests and alongside rolling pastures. Pop into the Red Lion pub while out walking or come back into the village of Yarmouth for a bite at Gossips Café on the Pier. The village is likely to have everything you will need - Co-op, Boots, a post office - as well as an antiques shop, deli, any number of pubs, quaint cafes and many other independent merchants you are sure to enjoy. While you may not want to leave Yarmouth, this lovely location on the West Wight is the perfect base from which to explore the entire Island.
