Sink into the heavenly large sofa in the sitting-room whilst watching your favourite film, with a tipple from the drinks table in the adjoining room which offers locally-sourced Welsh gin and whiskey. A generous Welsh welcome pack of freshly baked bread, Welsh butter, Welsh milk and locally baked Welsh cakes/Bara brith is also provided. The glorious surrounding views are enjoyed from almost every room.

The charming farmhouse kitchen lures the holiday chefs or the bakers in the family. It's a timeless setting with wondrous countryside views. You'll be mesmerised watching the sheep in the meadows and also in their pens, away from the farmhouse to the rear (dogs are not accepted because of the proximity of the sheep). Very well-equipped, with an Aga and all usual appliances, the breakfast table in the corner is ideal for a morning coffee, whilst browsing the recipe books for inspiration. Walk through to the utility-room with washing machine, useful tumble-drier and storage for walking boots and jackets. The stylish dining-room offers a very large table, ideal for leisurely holiday meals, lots of laughter and planning for the next day's adventures.

The five well-presented bedrooms are all situated on the first floor, with soothing interiors and the softest hues. Decked in luxurious white cotton, two doubles, one en suite, two twin rooms and a single room promise a hushed night's sleep. There are three bath/shower rooms and you can enjoy a heavenly soak in the bath to end a day of adventures.
