The School House is incredibly special and the perfect retreat for those who want to get away from it all and completely unwind and relax. Originally the village school, The School House is now a house of two halves, one historic and one contemporary, that seamlessly blend together to create a very unique and unforgettably special place. Situated in the tiny rural hamlet of Coryton, close to the village church, with spectacular views of the rolling Devon countryside, the style inside is deliciously classic and incredibly welcoming with squishy sofas, tiled floors, open fires, treasured antiques and cosy lighting. What was originally the infant's classroom, the sociable kitchen with its walnut carved table, warming Aga and fabulous countryside views, is sure to become the focal point of your holiday, where lazy breakfasts and leisurely dinners are to be enjoyed. Afterwards retire to the large drawing-room, to enjoy a good book in front of the fire or maybe partake in some home-made musical entertainment with the choice of instruments provided. The School House accepts children aged eight and over, and babes in arms under the age of six months.
