Corlan Cottage

Mullion / Sleeps 4 (no children under 3)

7 Nights from £421 - £1053

Tucked away in the centre of Mullion yet within a mile of the beach, little Corlan Cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village shops and facilities are just beyond the private drive shared with the neighbouring Owner. The original beams and stonework inside this converted old granite building have been carefully preserved; up in the eaves a minstrels’ gallery with a low sloping ceiling runs along two-thirds of the cottage, an intriguing ‘den’ accessed by a wall-ladder (please take care). The ground floor accommodation includes a cosy sitting/dining-room with a welcoming wood-burner, a bathroom, a shower-room and two bedrooms – which, though small, are tastefully furnished. The compact but well-equipped kitchen leads out to the enclosed back garden.

The large lawned back garden, where there is plenty of space for children and dogs to run around while the grown-ups sit back and relax, enjoys wonderful far reaching countryside views. Poldhu, Polurrian and Mullion Coves are not far from the cottage, and Mullion’s renowned links golf course and the beautiful Helford River are both just a short drive away.
