The perfect vantage point from which to gaze out over the dramatic Cornish coastline and absorb the constantly changing moods and colour of the sea. This recently refurbished top floor apartment is set in a grand former hotel, situated above Chynhalls Point, Coverack Headland.
The two flights of stairs to the second floor are worth it for the views alone; The Lookout has breathtaking sea views from the living-room (see photograph) and is surrounded by National Trust land with the coastal path nearby.
Both bedrooms overlook open heath, coastline and the eight acres of private grounds – which include an all-weather tennis court, extensive lawns with secluded sitting-out areas, and a little beach, sandy at low tide.
Perfect for bird and boat watching (so bring your binoculars!), The Headland enjoys splendid isolation, yet Coverack village, with its colourful fishing harbour, pretty cottages, pub and restaurants, is but a short downhill walk away.
