Just as its name suggests this comfortable, tastefully furnished top floor apartment provides the perfect vantage point from which to gaze out over the dramatic Cornish coastline and absorb the constantly changing moods and colour of the sea. A former hotel situated above Chynhalls Point, Coverack Headland now comprises several well appointed apartments. Accessed by two flights of stairs up to the second floor, The Lookout has breathtaking sea views from the living-room (see photograph) and is surrounded by National Trust land with the coastal path nearby. Both bedrooms overlook open heath, coastline and the eight acres of private grounds – which include an all-weather tennis court, extensive lawns with secluded sitting-out areas, and a little beach, sandy at low tide. THE HEADLAND HAS BUILDING WORK TAKING PLACE DURING THE FIRST PART OF 2018 TO REFURBISH THE EXTERIOR, SO UNFORTUNATELY THE PROPERTY WILL BE CLOSED DURING THIS TIME.
Perfect for bird and boat watching, so bring your binoculars! The Headland enjoys splendid isolation, yet Coverack village, with its colourful fishing harbour, pretty cottages, pub and restaurants, is but a short downhill walk away.
