The Granary

2.3 miles SE of Port Isaac / Sleeps 6 + cot

7 Nights from £526 - £1440

Near the shores of Polzeath, Rock and Daymer Bay, this is a contemporary, spacious home managed with care for the environment. The Granary is an oasis offering a warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen/dining-room and three of the bedrooms are on the ground floor while the en suite master bedroom is upstairs, beside the comfortable large sitting-room with its exposed beams and 42" plasma television. There are also 3.6 acres of glorious wildlife haven surrounding the cottage just waiting to be explored.

With large patio doors leading out to the patio and barbecue area, the kitchen/dining-room is the focal point of The Granary, which has been awarded a Green Tourism Business Scheme Gold award and lies within easy access of the host of interesting activities this area has to offer. There is so much to do in north Cornwall as the beaches are stunning. Polzeath is ideal for surfing and the Camel Trail at Wadebridge offers a great cycle to Padstow for all the family. In Padstow you will find a plethora of restaurants and shops to visit but do not miss out on the foot ferry over to Rock as this is a great jaunt across the water. At Port Isaac, the Michelin starred chef, Nathan Outlaw, has the tapas-style Fish Kitchen next to the harbour and his fine dining restaurant. At Rock, the Mariners and the Rock Inn serve locally brewed Sharps beer, locally sourced fish dishes and steaks supplied by the renowned Philip Warren Butchers. For those quick snacks the local baker Malcolm Barnecutt bakes great pasties to take away and enjoy on the local beaches.
