This delightful, traditionally furnished former farmhouse is perfect for a truly relaxing holiday. Close to the tranquil treelined Bunnell Creek and Helford River there are many delightful places to explore from this wonderful location.

The Cornish charm is maintained throughout this pretty cottage, the sitting-room has a beamed ceiling, large inglenook fireplace and warm and welcoming wood-burner. The double doors open onto the colourful garden at the front of the cottage where you can enjoy watching the birds and the bees with a glass of wine on a warm evening.

There is no shortage of rooms to enjoy the garden at Bunnell Cottage. A sunny conservatory is the perfect spot for the cooler months to enjoy the sunshine with a good book. From here, the doors lead to the patio which is ideal for outside meals and to the garden beyond. A narrow staircase leads to the two bedrooms and family bathroom, all with pretty views over the gardens surrounding the cottage.

Believed to date back to the 17th Century, Bunnell Cottage lies at the end of a well-maintained farm track in a gloriously peaceful setting. The Owner lives next door in a separate, completely self-contained part of the house.

There are many beaches, picturesque fishing coves and numerous other delights that the Lizard peninsula has to offer, and you are sure to be enthralled by the many wonderful walks meandering through this woodland idyll, where wildlife positively abounds. The Seal Sanctuary at Gweek is only a short drive away and is fun for all the family, if you are lucky you might spot an otter. The pretty pub Shipwrights at Helford Village is a lovely spot to enjoy a spot of lunch or perhaps jump on the ferry over to the other side of the creek where you can find the sub-tropical gardens of Trebah and Glendurgen.
