TwinPerfectly located just a short stroll from the breathtaking sandy beach at Croyde in beautiful north Devon, Offshore is a delightful, stylish holiday home, conveniently on one level, with a secluded garden and deck with private hot tub.
Offshore is simply a dream with stylish furnishings throughout. The living area is open plan, ideal for sociable holidays! Head to the kitchen-area furnished with sleek, modern units and you will find all the equipment you'll need to cook a holiday meal. Next to the kitchen there's a pine dining-table, large enough to seat everyone and perfect for sociable dining and planning the adventures of the day. The sitting-area has a cosy corner sofa, armchairs and a TV with wood-burner to keep you warm throughout the seasons. A separate utility-room is home to the washing machine and tumble-drier.
The four bedrooms are all nicely furnished with your comfort in mind. The spacious principal bedroom has a double bed and the added benefit of a dressing room and en suite shower-room. There's also a TV in this room so you can catch up on the latest programmes in comfort. Bedroom two is also a double room and this too has a TV and en suite shower-room. Bedroom three has a 'zip and link' bed giving flexibility to have either a king-size double or twins and bedroom four has twin beds, ideal for either children or adults. In addition, there is a family bathroom with bath and fitted shower, ideal for a long soak after a busy beach day, plus a wet-room with shower; lots of facilities for all your guests!
Outside, the secluded deck is wonderful and a great place to relax from dawn until dusk, dine al fresco and enjoy the fresh air. There is also a blissful hot tub, a great way to chill out with friends and family.
Other facilities include a shower to rinse off after the beach (and before/after using the hot tub) and for washing muddy paws after a winter walk. Access to the decked rear garden is via the patio doors from either the dining-area or the main bedroom. There is also access from the drive via a coded lock gate. Parking is available on the drive and there's an EV charging point too.
With the pretty village centre and beach just a short 10 to 15-minute walk away, Offshore has all you need for an unforgettable holiday.
Known as the surfing mecca of the southwest, Croyde is the place to be for water sports enthusiasts, particularly surfers. Equipment can be bought or hired locally along with lessons for all standards. With miles of sandy beach and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean towards Lundy Island, the beach is ideal for families, with masses of space even during the summer season. Bring a picnic, play beach games or just sit and gaze at the view in the Devonshire sunshine, holidays don't get much better than this.
The charming village with picture-postcard thatched roofed cottages and pretty gardens has a good selection of interesting shops, cafes and restaurants for dining out if the chef wants a night off. Of course you may just want an ice cream, or perhaps a cream tea (cream first of course!).
Walkers should pull on their walking boots and head out along the stunning coast path or perhaps head to the Tarka Trail with over 180 miles of looping trails, paths and bridleways taking in beautiful countryside and seascapes along the way. If golf is your thing there are several excellent courses to choose from including Saunton, noted as one of the best clubs in the world with two championship courses, or Mortehoe and Woolacombe with an excellent nine-hole course and panoramic sea views.
Whether you choose to spend your time making the most of the adventures on offer in the area, or just simply relax and re-charge, Offshore is perfectly placed for your north Devon holiday.
