If you're looking for space, charm and unforgettable moments, this magnificent four-bedroom home in West Devon - a few miles from the Cornish border - delivers on every front. From the vast wraparound garden with its sunny terrace to the dedicated games room and generously proportioned bedrooms, this property is perfectly suited for multi-generational holidays or relaxed get-togethers with friends.

The house exudes grandeur with beautiful features, high ceilings and a sense of elegance at every turn. There's room for everyone to relax in comfort, whether you're enjoying a lively family boardgame night or soaking up the peace and quiet in one of the many tranquil corners. The spacious and opulent sitting room, complete with large 'sink-into' sofas, opens onto the sun-drenched terrace - the ideal place for morning coffees, al fresco dining, or evening drinks as the garden glows in the golden hues of the setting sun.

Each of the four bedrooms is well-sized and equally inviting (no need for squabbles over who gets the best room!). Bedroom one is conveniently located on the ground floor with an en-suite. Upstairs, two more bedrooms come with their own en-suites and the fourth, offers a flexible 'zip and link' option to suit your group's needs and with the stylish family bathroom nearby.

Outside, the large, beautifully landscaped wraparound garden accessed by stone steps, invites you to slow down, unwind, and maybe even spot a deer or two. This magnificent garden is a wonderful, secluded slice of nature, perfect for children to play, adults to relax, and everyone to connect.

Every detail at Hope House has been thoughtfully curated, blending comfort with character and charm with modern convenience. Whether you're enjoying a film by the fire, gathering for delicious meals, cooked up in the colourful kitchen, or simply relaxing, you'll find that this home isn't just somewhere to stay, it's somewhere to make memories. Discover it once, and you'll want to return time and again.

It would be no surprise if you found it hard to tear yourself away from this magnificent house, yet the surrounding area offers a wealth of opportunities for further exploration in this truly special corner of Devon. Holsworthy is a short drive away and has an array of independent shops, welcoming pubs and cosy cafes. Or venture over to Okehampton, where you can enjoy slow mornings over specialty coffees and hearty breakfasts - perfect for kick starting the day. If you fancy a slice of Devon city life, trains run regularly from Okehampton into Exeter - perfect for a spot of retail therapy and riverside dining on Exeter's iconic quayside.

For a full adventure, why not explore the Granite Way, an 11-mile multi-use trail which starts at Okehampton railway station and runs to Lydford along the former railway line. Pack a picnic and head out on two-legs (or wheels) and enjoy the wonderful views of Devon's rolling countryside. Or if sun is shining, there's no better place to soak up the sunshine, than across the border in Bude. Try your hand at surfing on the Atlantic rollers, coasteering, or simply spend a day on one of the many golden beaches that dot this stunning stretch of north Cornwall.

Looking for something to do for the whole family? Take a short drive to Strawberry Fields Farm Shop at Lifton, where you can pick your own strawberries during the summer months, browse the extensive farm shop and indulge in some tasty treats in their on-site restaurant. There are other seasonal events (please check their website for more information) including their legendary pumpkin patch for little ones in the autumn - not to be missed!
