Nestled on an equestrian farm in the iconic Surrey Hills National Landscape (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) this gorgeous boutique lodge promises a luxury staycation and couples' retreat.

The rural location is truly idyllic and a place where you can totally immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings. Open the bi-fold doors and let the outside in or take to the patio terrace which has dining furniture and looks out onto the paddocks where horses are often grazing.

The Haybarn is all on one level. The stylish interiors and attention to detail complement its countryside location. The kitchen has everything a culinary artist could wish for. You can either enjoy al fresco dining on the patio or take to the dining-area where there is a sit-up bar. Cosy up on the huge corner sofa and enjoy watching movies together on the Smart TV or on a chilly winter's afternoon, light the wood-burning stove.

The hallway leads to two beautifully styled bedrooms. Bedroom one has a comfy king-size double bed and en suite bathroom, which includes a walk-in shower and a large contemporary free-standing bath. Bedroom two has a comfy double bed and sleek en suite with large walk-in rain shower.

A walkers' haven, there is a footpath near the barn. There are a network of trails and footpaths that take you over the Surrey Hills and cycle routes that lead you through scenic countryside. Visit nearby Leigh Hill and its stone tower which has a spiral staircase to the top where a telescope allows you to enjoy the far reaching views!

For more scenic, picturesque walks and cycle routes visit Box Hill which forms part of the North Downs and overlooks the River Mole. It's a wonderful place for outdoor pursuits, a picnic or simply soaking up the views.

Take a stroll to the nearby pretty village of Ewhurst which is situated on the edge of the Surrey Hills at the foot of Pitch Hill. It sits between North and South Downs in the Surrey Weald, just five miles from the border of West Sussex. There is The Bulls Head pub, local shop, 12th Century church, village green and a recreation ground with tennis court. Plenty to do!

A ten minute drive takes you to the village of Cranleigh which has several pubs, restaurants and shops. Or visit the historic and vibrant town of Guildford, home to a Norman Castle, built shortly after the Norman invasion in 1066, a museum, the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre and an endless delight of shops, restaurants and cafes.

Just down the road you will find Hurstwood Park and Polo Club, a popular venue that holds various events through the year.

Visit a vineyard or two and sample some fine English wine. You have Denbies Wine Estate, High Clandon Estate Vineyard, Albury Vineyard and Greyfriars Vineyard.

Other popular places to visit include Frensham Ponds, Newlands Corner, Grange Park Opera, Cranleigh Golf and Country Club, Polesden Lacey, Hampton Court Palace, Claremont Landscape Garden, Winkworth Arboretum, The Deepdene Trail, the Devil's Punchbowl, Hatchlands Park, Silent Pool Gin Distillery, or Runnymede and Ankerwycke (birthplace of Magna Carta).

Although the property is tucked away, you are only an hour from London, Brighton, Portsmouth and equal distance from Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

One to one yoga and private dining is also available to book directly with the owner, subject to availability.

With its serene location and stylish interiors, this fabulous home is a treat any time of year, a place you will want to come back time and time again!
