Sunnyside Lodge
5630 is no longer with usIf you were looking for cottages like Sunnyside Lodge, how about trying these:
Perfect for families and friends who wish to holiday together in a quiet unspoilt countryside location. This single-storey lodge sits under the vast Norfolk skies and is located just outside the pretty hamlet of Wighton, close to the stunning coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea where you can enjoy the ever-changing tides and the beautiful harbour.
One of three lodges, it is set back from a country lane with very little traffic noise, apart from the odd tractor from the neighbouring farm, a cyclist passing by or the hooting of the local barn owls. This area really is a haven for wildlife with bird reserves at Blakeney Point and Titchwell Marsh, so a real must for bird and animal lovers.
Step into the spacious hallway which leads to three bedrooms and the open plan living-area, which overlooks the shared central lawn with subtle topiary. This comfortable lodge is light and bright with sliding patio doors leading out to the garden. There is a well-equipped kitchen for preparing hearty breakfasts or light suppers and the comfy seating in the sitting area is the perfect place to relax after a fun packed day out. Choose a family movie on the Smart TV or simply relax, book in hand with a coffee.
At the far end of the hall, you'll find the main bedroom with comfy super-king bed and your private en suite shower-room, there is ample space for a travel cot if you are bringing one. The double and twin bedrooms share the family bathroom. This lovely barn conversion provides guests with plenty of storage options allowing the space to be free from clutter to simply relax on holiday and enjoy a great night's sleep.
For larger families, perhaps with grandparents or friends, why not book neighbouring Sunrise Lodge (5627) where the adjoining door between the properties can be unlocked so you can spend time together making those lasting holiday memories. Sunset Lodge (5628) is also available if you wish to book all three!
