Woodlands offers a multitude of activities, from the large fully enclosed garden, perfect for any ball sports, to the fabulous games-room which is ideally equipped for a touch of friendly competition. Venturing out of Woodlands, a very short car drive will find you at the bustling seaside town of Exmouth. This lively town on the east coast of Devon offers two miles of golden sandy beach, numerous eateries and welcoming pubs, along with all the expected seaside attractions. Exmouth is the perfect day out for all generations.
You will be wowed from the moment you arrive at Woodlands. Entering the property's grounds via the electronic gates and parking up on the vast driveway, your holiday really begins. The beauty is that the main gates are accessed directly from the main road, therefore finding your destination has never been easier. This welcoming family home has five bedrooms catering for nine lucky guests (additional sleeping can be supplied on request) and three bath/shower rooms, so there will never be a queue in the morning. The large kitchen leading into the dining-room is set perfectly for serving up that special family feast. Or if the weather allows, enjoying a great barbecue on the patio is just the ticket, especially as the undercover shelter ensures that this is one barbecue the trusty British weather can't spoil.
Your location is also rather special. Finding ways to entertain all ages is super easy. From paddle boarding, kayaking or even snorkelling from Exmouth beach (excursions can be arranged) to exploring the vast and famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast, you have so many attractions and hot spots on your doorstep, you are spoilt for choice.
A holiday at Woodlands is guaranteed to be full of laughter, games, making special memories and that very important relaxation. You could spend each day within the grounds of this wonderful home, however to venture out and truly enjoy this splendid coastal location is a must.
Exmouth is a popular coastal town, not only for its many attractions but also for its easy access to the many splendours of the east Devon coast. The iconic Jurassic Coast is a short car journey away, famed for its dramatic cliffs and fossils. Regency Sidmouth is a fabulous town with beautiful seafront, magnificent red cliffs and a great selection of eclectic shops, cafes and inns. Don't forget to see the famous Jacobs Ladder whilst you are there.
The Cathedral City of Exeter should be on your 'to do' list, where you can explore 2,000 years of history, with Roman walls, underground passages and the historic quayside, and the shopping is pretty good too! For the energetic amongst the group, the Exe Estuary Trail is a 26 mile flat route which links Exmouth, Exeter and Dawlish, perfect for either walkers or cyclists with some fabulous views along the way.
All of these attractions and activities are right on your doorstep, making it easy to pack out each day with a new adventure.
