You step into the hallway with fascinating original wall beams to the well-equipped kitchen where the wood-burner in the stone fireplace takes pride of place. The farmhouse table is perfect to enjoy a hearty Yorkshire breakfast, you are on holiday after all! The friendly sitting-room is very spacious, gather everyone together and play a board game or just enjoy a favourite film, there are plenty of books for everyone. The wood-burner will keep you all warm and toasty whatever the season.
Ivy House has four large and comfortable country-style bedrooms, two bedrooms are on the first floor, one king-size with an en suite shower-room, and one with flexible 'zip and link' beds both with pretty views of the village and the countryside beyond. The two attic rooms have wonderful beams and another en suite bathroom, both have amazing far reaching countryside views. Please note the sloping ceilings. The family bathroom has a bath and shower, just the place to soak tired legs after a hike on the North York Moors.
The luxury doesn't stop here, outside Ivy House has a delightful private garden, again with views of the village and fields. In season there are strawberries, herbs and flowers for you to use, sit awhile and take in the birdsong and peace before filling your days with fun filled Yorkshire exploring.
