Welcome to this gorgeous Grade II Listed cottage situated along one of Rye's famous cobbled streets, perfect for couples looking to stay in the heart of Rye.

As you enter this stunning cottage, you're greeted by a wonderful sitting-room with a cosy wood-burner, sumptuous furnishings, Smart TV and a southerly outlook through a leaded window to St Mary's Church.

Wander through to the kitchen/diner where there is a double oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, in fact all you need to cook up a feast for two!

When it's time to rest your sleepy head, take the stairs. The bedroom is a calming space and to the back of the bedroom there is a step up leading to the dressing-area which has plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom features a slipper bath and stylish separate shower cubicle.

Head outside and wander along the quaint cobbled streets of this wonderful ancient Cinque Ports town. The views from the top of St Mary's Church are not to be missed. Or perhaps book a ghost tour and listen out for the ghostly footsteps of smugglers running through the narrow cobbled alleyways. Ypres Tower is one of Rye's top attractions and known as 'Wipers' tower by locals, from the top you can take in the views over the town, the river Rother estuary and out to sea. Rye has some great pubs, antiques shops, independent shops and some lovely tea-rooms.

For a day at the coast head to Winchelsea beach, popular for its bird life or Camber Sands for its sand dunes and spectacular golden beach.

Other coastal areas include the National Nature Reserve (NNR) of Dungeness, a unique desolate landscape popular with artists and home to the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, Lifeboat Station, Old Lighthouse, Trinity House, the Dungeness Nuclear Power Stations and the Water Tower.

Explore the coastal town of Hastings and wander the winding streets of the Old Town or take the funicular East Hill Lift up to Hastings Country Park or the West Hill Lift where you can take in the views.

Other nearby attractions include Rye Castle Museum, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, Tillingham Winery, Camber Castle, Bodiam Castle, Great Dixter House and Gardens, Bodiam River Boats, Rudyard Kipling's House Batemans, Battle Abbey, Smallhythe Place, Sissinghurst Castle, Bewl Water and Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest to name just a few.

With a super cottage to return to and with so much to see and do, you won't be disappointed!
