Imagine relaxing in a heavenly, luxurious hot tub overlooking the shimmering expanse of the Haven Waterway, one of Pembrokeshire's most spectacular, idyllic views.

Nestling in the heart of Pembrokeshire, in an enchanting, peaceful location on the banks of the river, unique Rose House is a truly desirable destination, promising an unforgettable holiday. The stylish, spacious accommodation sleeps eight guests over two floors, offering four elegant bathrooms. Good news for the dogs, they are most welcome too. Approached via a steep curving drive, the grounds are truly beguiling, reaching down to the water's edge and ideal for launching a small boat.

A walk along the shore at low tide leads to one of Pembrokeshire's most popular pubs, the Jolly Sailor in Burton, a great family pub which serves excellent food and drink. Located very near the iconic Cleddau Bridge, which links north and south Pembrokeshire, the magnificent beauty of the county is waiting to be explored. To the south are the golden sands of Tenby, Saundersfoot, Manobier and Freshwater West, a surfer's paradise, and to the mid and north, endless glorious Pembrokeshire beaches such as Broad Haven, Newgale and Whitesands, castles, pretty seaside villages and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, which meanders along the entire coastline.

Having taken in your dreamy location, step inside this gorgeous getaway and let your holiday begin. The well-equipped kitchen has all the holiday chef needs and the deluxe coffee machine is a real treat for coffee lovers. Look out for the local farm shops for delicious local produce. Accessed via the kitchen is the useful utility-room with washer/drier. Wander through into the spacious open plan sitting-room, with dining-area, ideal for leisurely meals and board games on rainy days. Relax in the warming glow of the wood-burner in the second sitting-room on chillier nights, choosing a favourite film from the full Sky package, taking luxurious time out.

From the sun-room soak up the spectacular beauty of your surroundings, watching the boats sail by. Located on the ground floor is a double room with an adjustamatic four-foot bed and wet-room style shower. Climb the stairs to find a sunny landing, flooded with light, three gorgeous en suite bedrooms with sumptuous beds and gorgeous linens, and delightful waterway views from the double and twin rooms to the front of the property.

After a day on the beach, spend time in the bubbly hot tub away it from it all. Stargaze from the patio on a summer's night with your favourite tipple, as the tide laps the shore or take sunny breakfasts there before the day's adventures begin. Rose House is perfectly placed to make the most of all Pembrokeshire has to offer, whether you arrive on sunny days, choose an autumn break or fancy a winter get away.

There's lots for everyone to do in the local area. Beach day picnics, rock pooling, surfing, paddle boarding, boating and kayaking, wonderful walks, castles at Pembroke and Carew to discover and many family adventure parks and attractions. Visit Folly Farm for a fun family day out. Much more than a farm, it has a zoo, indoor play area, parks, cafes and a funfair. Children will love Oakwood theme park, Heatherton World of Activities, the Dinosaur Park and Hangar Five, which offers lots of trampolining fun. Why not see what's on in the Torch Theatre, which is a cinema and theatre in Milford Haven. There is also a cinema in Haverfordwest, the Palace Cinema.

Take a boat trip between April and August from Martins Haven to see the puffins on Skomer Island or a boat from Tenby Harbour to visit Caldey Island, where the monks continue centuries of tradition. Do try Abbots Chocolate, which they make and sell in the island shop. To the north of the county discover St Davids, with its magnificent cathedral, boutique shops and galleries. The nearest shop is at the service station near Neyland. For pub meals and restaurants try the Jolly Sailor at Burton, The Stable Inn at Neyland Marina, The Georges and the Forbidden Florist in Haverfordwest or one of the many bars and restaurants in Tenby or at Milford Haven Marina. For a special treat try Coast in Saundersfoot. The pretty town of Narberth is also well worth a visit. Hwb is great for food or Ultracomida serves the best Spanish lunch.
