If you are after a luxurious and indulgent break, then you are in for a treat with The Pink Door at Henley. Expect a touch of boutique-style living in a super stylish town house - the ideal setting for friends, family or couples. A Grade II Listed property, it has been lovingly modernised, providing opulent interiors whilst being super comfortable and cosy.

This hidden gem is conveniently located on the high street in Henley-In-Arden, best known as one of the prettiest towns in England. The mile-long high street of medieval, Tudor, Georgian and Victorian architecture includes 150 historic buildings, shops, pubs and restaurants, with a history dating back to the 12th Century. Visiting Henley is like diving into an Enid Blyton novel!

Not surprisingly, the first sight that greats you is the marvellous pink front door. Open up and step inside to a stunning monochrome sitting-room. Dark wood and venetian polished plaster delicately reflect the roaring open fire. Expect plenty of sheepskin rugs, cow hides and contemporary art which combine to create an eclectic and quirky space to relax with friends. The house also benefits from a modern Hive heating system.

To the right, the hallway leads to a gorgeous cloakroom complete with feature slate tiles and a chandelier/glitterball combo, what's not to love!

If you feel like entertaining at home, the open plan kitchen/dining-room continues the striking monochrome theme and is the perfect place to enjoy a drink whilst preparing a delicious feast. Every detail has been lovingly considered with fabulous trinkets and adornments to catch the eye. The French doors in the dining-area fully open so you can enjoy the fresh air whilst dining in the warmer months. For any music lovers there is even a cosy snug area with a wood-burner effect gas stove and a cool retro record player complete with a choice of LPs to unwind to.

The first floor is accessed via traditional winding stairs from the sitting-room and has two double bedrooms and a small double (ideal for a couple who are cosy sleepers), all beautifully designed to make you feel at home whilst being thoroughly spoilt. Lie back and enjoy the sumptuous furnishings, ornate mirrors and opulent little extras. The first floor also accommodates a shared shower-room where you can freshen up before heading out to one of the many pubs or restaurants just a short walk away on the high street - and did we mention the black and white theme?

Another traditional winding staircase leads up to the second floor and the stunning main bedroom. This showcase room has certainly got the wow factor and is perfect for a romantic break. Indulge in the zebra print furniture, exposed beams, textured throws and gorgeous art. If that wasn't enough there is a fabulous en suite with feature roll-top bath, a large double shower, venetian polished plaster, exposed timber and antique furniture.

Outside there is a pretty enclosed garden with a large paved seating area and oversized fire-pit, making the ideal space to entertain during the summer months. Steps lead up to an area of lawn where you can soak up the sun and enjoy a good read.

A parking permit for one car is supplied, this can be used to park on the high street outside the property (subject to availability). Alternatively cars may be parked in The Henley Golf Club car park, this is 400 yards away and is payable by app.

The Pink Door at Henley provides a versatile space to enjoy a getaway. Ideal for couples wanting a romantic break, as well as groups of family and friends. The building dates back to medieval times and this wonderful setting allows you to relax, whilst enjoying the many restaurants, gourmet pubs and coffee shops nearby.

Henley seems to have a little bit of whatever you fancy, whatever your age. From duck races to ancient mounds, from summer music festivals to the famous ice-cream parlour. A glorious local bakery offers picnic treats, and a good old-fashioned butcher can fill your barbecue for summer feasts.

Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford are all within easy reach and provide more extensive shopping, leisure and cultural amenities as well as first class education establishments for both the state and private sector. And of course, there are miles and miles of glorious countryside walks to discover; perhaps the perfect way to explore this breathtakingly beautiful part of the world.
