Introducing Romany, a beautiful detached house, nestled just moments from the coast path and a choice of five hidden coves and long sandy beaches. This exceptional home possesses everything you will need to create the perfect holiday for all generations. Your location is rather special in many ways, at the end of the quiet road is a wooden gate, opening out onto the South West Coast Path with panoramic views of the sea and beautiful Broadsands which offers a stunning golden sand horseshoe bay with a gentle gradient, perfect for children to swim and play. Choose from two fabulous beach bars for a quick snack or leisurely lunch.

Entertainment, activity and beauty can be found in every direction from Romany. Under one mile away you have the super family-friendly Splashdown water park at Quaywest, slightly further afield you have the magic of Paignton Zoo, and numerous eateries and welcoming watering holes littered across and along the glorious south Devon coastline and coastal trails. The English Riviera really is truly at your fingertips.

Romay itself is the perfect retreat for you, your friends and family. This fabulous property has been designed and finished to such a high standard to ensure that your stay is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Why not wake up early and watch the sun rise over the ocean from the comfort of the luxurious principal bedroom. The large kitchen offers oodles of space to whip up that feast, the bedrooms are en suite (the bunk-room has access to the family bathroom nearby) and you also have the benefit of two living areas, so no more squabbles about what is on TV! Sleeping eight as standard, on request Romany could welcome two extra guests to stay in the second floor snug, as no one should miss out on such a special holiday destination.

Returning to Romany after a day of adventure and activity, spark up the barbecue and pop open a bottle of something tasty whilst the children let off steam in the large gardens and grounds. Watching the sun go down together, followed by a spot of star gazing, is the perfect end to a day.

Romany is nestled on the outskirts of Paignton, just minutes from Torquay, Brixham, Dartmouth and Kingswear. Your central location makes accessing attractions such as Agatha Christie's Greenway House and Greenway Quay very easy indeed. From the Greenway Quay you can take a ferry boat to several equally sought-after locations such as Dittisham, Dartmouth and Totnes. Or jump in the car and a short drive will find you in the heart of the famous fishing town of Brixham to visit the Golden Hind and enjoy a fabulous helping of cafes, bistros, pubs and delightful restaurants. The younger members of the party will enjoy testing their crabbing skills against the most cunning crabs in the South West - good luck!

For the adrenalin junkies of the group, you have so much activity and fun to explore, again, all within easy striking distance. Broadsands offers kayaking and/or paddle boarding with all equipment supplied on the beach (for a small charge) it makes a fun day out for the whole group. Beautiful Torquay is a short drive or bus ride away. Stroll along the magnificent sea front, enjoy tapas in the Visto Lounge or lunch in Bistro Pierre and watch the world go by. Entertainment for the whole family is close by, try out the Riviera Centre with outdoor flume and a wave pool, mini golf or while away a morning in Torre Abbey where history is told with exciting interactive exhibits. Why not explore Kents Cavern, take a tour and venture deep inside the cave network, formed over two million years ago. Looking for a thrill, try the speed boat rides around the bay or hire a jet ski but be prepared to get wet. If you want to see the bay at a slower pace book a kayak tour, half and full day tours available with Reach Outdoors at Goodrington.

Or perhaps pitching your talents against each other from your very own back garden sounds like all the activity you seek, if so you have a large table-tennis table at your disposal - let the games commence.

Romany is the perfect location for walkers or guests bringing their dog, miles of beautiful off-road walking on the South West Coast Path just a couple of minutes away. Walk from the house to Galmpton and then on to Kingswear and take the ferry to Dartmouth for lunch; Bayard's Cove is perfect for a coffee or a tasty lunch, sit outside on the pretty cobbled street in the summer or soak up the cosy atmosphere of this 600 year old house in the winter, dogs are welcomed all year. Be sure to walk around the town and explore all the beautiful independent shops and galleries Dartmouth has to offer.

The nearby villages and towns offer the very best in amusements and attractions, complemented by some extremely delectable and award-winning pubs, cafes and restaurants. For seafood lovers the Anchorstone Cafe in Dittisham is highly recommended or perhaps a more traditional fish and chips dish from Mitch Tonks Rockfish restaurant in Brixham is on your to do list.

Not forgetting the fabulous Paignton Harbour. This beautiful harbour is home to numerous bars, pubs and restaurants, and Paignton pier and the beach are also just a short stroll away. Paignton Harbour is a great day out for all the family, and you're just a walk away from the town centre if you do fancy soaking up the vibrant seaside atmosphere. You'll find a VUE cinema, crazy golf and amusement strip close to the pier too - great fun on rainy days! Paignton Station is in the centre of town, book an unforgettable steam train ride down to Kingswear or take the regular train service into Exeter to explore the excellent shopping or walk around the vibrant river and quay quarter.

Whichever direction you choose to head in, you will be truly spoilt.

This magnificent house and its magical location are the perfect holiday destination for families and friends alike all year round. So much activity, entertainment and splendour on your doorstep. This is one holiday retreat you won't want to leave!
