Welcome to Menhenick, a beautifully crafted Cornish retreat, nestled in the rural splendour of Loskeyle Farm. This characterful barn conversion has been lovingly restored and seamlessly marries traditional features with cosy contemporary furnishings, perfect for family holidays or friends looking for a Cornish escape.

Your journey will take you through verdant countryside and along pretty country lanes where Menhenick awaits, an ideal location for year-round breaks. The charming village of St Tudy is close by with the moorland villages of St Breward and Blisland a short drive away. Cosmopolitan Rock and the ever-popular Port Isaac sit on the dramatic north Atlantic coast, perfect for adventure seekers yet offering peaceful solitude for more relaxing holidays.

The ground floor is light and bright thanks to floor to ceiling windows overlooking the charming garden and patio. The sociable living space includes a cosy sitting/dining-room, warmed by a log-burner in cooler months, and a charming kitchen/diner, cleverly designed with a large central island, the ideal place to perch and chat whilst the chef creates a culinary masterpiece for dinner! Bedroom one can be found on this floor, with twin beds and an en suite shower-room, perfect for either adults or children.

Climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find two additional bedrooms, a twin and a double with beautiful linens and eclectic artworks adorning the walls. The family bathroom completes the first floor.

Outside you can make the most of the blissful Cornish sunshine in the well-kept garden and listen to the sounds of the countryside whilst enjoying your morning coffee. The family dogs will be very happy here too as the garden is enclosed for your peace of mind.

There are three other properties at Loskeyle Farm which sit around a landscaped courtyard, and you are welcome to stroll around the grounds and orchard at your leisure. From October, the short breaks you will be able to enjoy are Monday-Friday/Friday-Monday.

You may decide to spend your precious holiday time surrounded in countryside, relaxing in peace and tranquility but if you do decide to travel further afield, the options are endless. There is complimentary fishing on the River Camel, walkers should pull on their boots and head for the wild beauty of Bodmin Moor or perhaps head for the coast with mile upon mile of dramatic scenery, breathtaking views and pretty fishing villages to discover. The Camel Trail is just half a mile down the road and cyclists can explore miles of trails through woodland and alongside the estuary. Bikes can be hired locally so there really is no excuse not to!

Take your camera and head out to the gorgeous fishing villages of Boscastle, home of the Fishermen's Friends and Port Isaac of Doc Martin fame. Foodies will delight in the many options available, from Rick Stein to Nathan Outlaw, there are plenty to choose from. Pencarrow and Lanhydrock House are two of many local historic houses and well worth a visit. However, you spend your days, Menhenick is a wonderful holiday home to return to.
